Loud no sleep
Good value, clean, good heater (quiet fan), good, hot breakfast
There was loud music from the banquet hall below that continued until about 1 am
Room is ok. Quite big and new. You have tv and stufs to make a coffee or a tea. Personal is very kind and park is free and not a problem. Internet connection is free in all the structure and woks good. Bathroom was very clear. Finally breakfast...is continental and buffet. But not the better of my life, but is ok if in the total price of the room. But I would not pay extras for it. Final review: if you need a place to stay and from there move is perfect. You can arrive and park easily. You have internet free and the structure is new. Nice rooms. If you look for something near the downtown is not this one the place. But very cheap for what it offers. A SUGGESTION: ask always for a room 1°floor or up. And if they don't have ask for external rooms street view. Not internal.
for the price nothing.
Not sure why during the daytime all you hear in the room is a sound like someone drilling. Tv had hardly any channels. Breakfast room were you pickup the food from buffet table is tiny. Room was not as showed in picture. Bathroom door was super close to toilet seat 1.5 inches away when you opened door. Pillows are tiny squares.
I loved it that we get to have breakfast in the ballroom, with wall sconces, marble floor and the biggest chandelier I've ever seen! It made my scrambled eggs and ham so much more sumptuous. I will certainly be back. And the daily newspaper as a bonus!
I can't think of a thing I didn't like. Oh, the room's coffee machine malfunctioned, but was immediately changed by a charming and efficient staff member within a half hour of my informing the front desk. Well done!
A bit india smell
Noise from a party in restaurant
The location was what we were looking for.
The advertised room is really only big enough for one person. Two people cannot pass each other anywhere in the room. The only place I have encountered smaller rooms was London England - but for one person only.
the location, room, breakfast
There is a great breakfast served but found the food not quite hot enough.
Very clean, tastefully done. I was pleasantly surprised!!!!
10min from airport. Clean room. Free coffee and tea all day long.
No cot bed for kids. Noisy room. Poor WiFi.
Close to the highway.
Initial room very small for a queen. King room better for ten dollars extra per night. Guess you get what you pay for.
Unfriendly staff, no properly furnished room, shower has just curtain on it so water splashed all over the place. Shols never be recommended to anyone or be listed on your booking site!
Space on the suite, quit and very confort space.
Front desk staff, very rush and dont pay attention, too stress to deal with guess.
Room had lots of space plus having a couch was bonus to have. Friend was able to sleep on it instead of floor.
Price. Breakfast. Location for my needs. Clean. Comfortable.
3 wedding receptions on Saturday night presented parking problem. Took 20/25 minutes to resolve.
breakfast was good
hair from last guest in the shower large gap at bottom of door to room bed uncomfortable no signs to room
The room was huge and the location was close enough to the airport that we had a short drive for our very early morning flight.
The opaque curtains on the windows didn't close, and the sheer curtains didn't close all the way, so we had a clear view of all the people in the parking lot as we stepped out of the bathroom after a shower. I was really uncomfortable with that, so we hung our towels from the curtains.
Simple, clean, quiet, affordable
Small pillows, interior rooms have view over banquet hall / atrium.
no satellite tv. no restaurant. no hot tub. dont replenish items for next morning
If you like the old world charm of grand hotels, this hotel has a decor you can enjoy for a fraction of what you might expect to pay. This once grand lady is still gorgeous albeit her age shows in some areas - but but not in a decrepit way. The important items like tubs, sinks and toilets are updated. The lobby and dining room have chandeliers to marvel at. Rooms are all around the outside of the hotel, leaving a huge 2 story open room in the centre of the hotel. This is the dining room where the floors are marble with intricate pattern inlaid in the centre of the room. A gorgeous big fireplace is at one end of the room. The ornate sconces adorn the walls with other heavy ornate woodwork. I couldn't help be reminded of the glory days in the Great Gatsby! I, for one, was thrilled to see the hotel has not be completely modernized. The complimentary breakfast was not all carbs. Eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, juices and fruit were part of the buffet along with muffins, pancakes and toast. I appreciated the complimentary coffee and tea available throughout the day - especially specialty teas such as Earl Grey, Mint, Apple Cinnamon and a few more.
There is only one front desk person who is responsible for many duties, some which require them to step away from the desk, leaving it empty. When I arrived I had to wait 15mins before a lady returned to her desk. I had occasion to deal with about 5 different front desk people and every single one of them showed amazing professionalism given the circumstances under which they must perform their duties and were more than willing to help me when I needed it. The multitask to the best of their ability to minimize the wait time for people. So go easy on them folks, if you run into the same situation. They're not fluffing off in a corner somewhere. They really are tending to something that requires then to leave their post.
Staff very helpful
no ledges in shower, towel rack too high up, breakfast moderate, rather unnecessary grandeur.
way to noisy. there was a function under our room. not able to sleep. very small.
What a horrible experience, and it was only 2 nights!!!! Location isn't close to anything unless u have a car. Their shuttle to/from the airport is $22 but is only 10 minutes (6 km) away. Half an hour to 45 minutes from downtown. This place is in the ghetto. Staff are incompetent. Breakfast was mediocre at best. Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else.
Even though the room was small it was adequate for our needs. There was very good water pressure in the shower and we enjoyed the heated floor in the bathroom.
I had advised the staff about the fact that I was unable to secure the safety lock from inside the room - however, no one came to check it. Also, there was no fan to run when having a shower to prevent steam build up in the bathroom.
