Excellent staff and customer service. Updated appointments in a boutique hotel. Downtown location Good restaurant
Fitness room off property Uncovered and off property parking
The staff was both professional and helpful. The location was perfect for us. Surrounded by excellent restaurants and shopping. Will definitely return.
parking - while close not convenient. Thinking you should have a valet system
The staff was very professional and responsive. The decor of the hotel was superb and I enjoyed learning about the history of the building itself. I also really appreciated the fact that I requested a tub and a view because I was celebrating my birthday and they upgraded me and my wishes came true :) The staff also had a personalized card in the room for me when I arrived and my room was ready early! I work in the hotel industry and I was quite impressed. Thank you Hotel Rialto!
Upon arrival, I noticed the cleanliness of the unit was a bit under par. There was significant dust on most surfaces: bathroom counters, tissue boxes, ledges etc. It didn't bother me too much because I work in the industry and I am familiar with all the hard work housekeeping does. Things most definitely fall through the cracks and it's understandable. Additionally, the bed had black hairs all over the top and inside the sheets... and our sheets were shredded upon arrival. The staff should pay closer attention to detail because first impressions are everything :)
Would stay again staff very helpful and it was in a good location for the town centre. The best of it was they had a cocktail bar where the baran conjured up fantastic cocktails. It was an education just watching him.
Staff efficient and friendly. The bedroom is on the small side but the bathroom was large and both were very clean. Tapas bar good food and ambience. Walking distance to just about everything you want to see.
We lookied into another room so our room was on the dark side but it was quiet.
The complimentary cheese plate and the bar, including the service there, were excellent. Our room was very clean.
Because the building is old the pipes were loud and the room was quite small.
The location The rooms The cafe and restaurant The staff
Would have liked a bigger lounge bar
The room The location The friendly staff
There wasn't anything to dislike
Staff was very helpful with directions. Very friendly.
No pool and parking was not close enough and should be include in the price for the room.
Good location, Very friendly staff, Delicious muffins
Fairly noisy throughout the nights
Good facilities. Fairly central
Sheets on bed were dreamy!
Bedding on fold-out couch was far inferior to bedding on bed; looked like it was rejected from a college-dorm sale.
The cocktail venue and the Baristas were good fun The decor was snazzy but in good taste
The breakfast area was a little cramped at the busy exodus time
Pleasant staff, prompt attention, very nice rooms, nice decor.
Would have preferred a different in-house restaurant. It is a tapas bar focussing on trendy drinks and snacks. You can't really order a regular meal, just appetizers. The adjacent coffee shop closes early.
The WIFI didn't work for me at all. There was a Shaw access point near by so I just used that.
Good location, decent size of the hotel, friendly stuffs, a cozy room
The bed was too soft for me. However, I love a extreme firm bed, which is unusual so it's not big deal.
The friendly and accommodating staff were truly wonderful. The food was excellent. They have A/C which was a must for our comfort. I would return here in a heartbeat.
Nice rooms and hotel
Rooms incredibly close together so it can be quite loud in the morning
Everyone went out of their way for us....and they were sincerely interested in making our stay perfect. Plus they smiled all the time!!
Location, look, staff and quality.
Only complaint is the horrible connection for wifi
The option of not having room made up and putting the $10 towards your breakfast. We had the best breakfast at the rialto after staying in many different hotels whilst travelling in Canada.
Location and friendly helpful staff. Good cafe and bar
Every thing was great.
The hotel & lounge is very nice.
The location was walking distance to the restaurants & waterfront but the neighborhood was dirty & had a lot of drug users & homeless people.
