Loved the staff so helpful..The breakfast coupons were great. Just an overall wonderful experience....Thanx u rock!!!!!
Fabulous staff. Excellent room with great bed and good soundproofing. Nice big bathrobes, good TV, good fridge, coffee maker. And great food in the tapas bar.
The restaurant side of the tapas bar was incredibly noisy. We ate from the same menu in the coffee shop and it was just fine.
walking distance to everything downtown
- location was excellent - staff were very friendly and helpful
- no parking in the hotel itself - no gym in the hotel itself - fridge was no where near cold enough - no vegan options in hotel's cafe or restaurant
location and nice beds
Shower only, no bath. Noise on the street outside our window.
Everything, from the quality of the bedding and fixtures to the way they cook a breakfast hash. I have at last found a quality hotel in Victoria!
Nothing, I could not find anything tangible to dislike.
I am 6'5". When I checked in they upgraded me to a king size suite so I would be more comfortable
Excellent staff Excellent in comfort Excellent location
The tall ceilings The history of the building The nice feel of a well built building The modern flair of the updates, so that it feels new and clean too! Friendly staff Slept very well, very comfortable !
We had the junior suite, very tidy, nice little kitchen. Great shopping base with great Tapas place downstairs.
the way an old hotel has been turned into a new hotel with a strong retro feeling. The food was excellent (both tapas (cheese plate - gratis) and pastries and coffee - gratis).
deafening music in their tapas lounge.
Location is great, and the hotel architecture is elegant. The lobby-waiting lounge could be larger. The complimentary coffee and breakfast muffin, together with a complimentary cheese plate are great / welcoming gesture. Both the breakfast and evening dining restaurants are excellent, with warm and friendly staff. The tapa style dining experience is very contemporary with great selection of food!
We were early to check in on a Saturday morning, and happened to come across a somewhat aggressive, not eager to listen or pay attention to what people are telling her and not so hospitable (in a hospitality industry) staff at the check in counter. She seemed a bit not happy that we showed up early, and not at the 3:00PM and after timeslot that the hotel prefers. However, offered to check if the room was ready which fortunately was. As we were exploring a bit of the restaurant area which was not open for the evening yet, this person followed us making sure we understood that the restaurant was closed, and we shouldn't be there. Rest of the other staff that followed were extremely polite and made sure we were comfortable.
Room was comfy and clean! Staff were wonderful!
Coffee pot came to me with milk in it and sour. Bath salts had been partially used were left for me by cleaning staff.
Spacious, clean, comfortable
lighting is a bit random
The fact that we couldn't sign in because we are 18
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was gorgeous, cozy and modern..very very nice!.I will definitely be staying at this hotel during my next visit to Victoria
Awesome service, welcoming cheese plate & complimentary breakfast coffee and muffin - were very much appreciated. Room was above our expectations. Great value.
We loved our 2 night stay here at the Rialto Hotel. We were made very welcome and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a beautiful king room so quiet and comfortable. Breakfasts were tasty but rather large! A boutique hotel situated very close to downtown Victoria with a wonderful history is to be found downstairs.Complimentary cheeseboard went well with the impressive drinks list.
Rooms and decor Staff very helpful
Car park away from main building No pool
Very helpful staff and excellent restaurants
Great staff, good location, clean modern room.
Street front rooms noisy Friday and Saturday. Suggest avoiding street facing rooms on weekends.
Lovely service, the free coupons for food is terrific as well. Great location easy to walk anywhere you would need.
Tv was a little smaller than expected
You would expect a certain amount of noise from the streets staying downtown but, the construction of the building is solid and I slept great. Great lounge downstairs for a quick cocktail before hitting the town or making a night of it.
