Our family enjoyed the location, the cabin, the people. The cabin was clean, spacious, and well maintained. There was a good assortment of utensils and supplies needed for a home away from home! We will recommend this site to our friends!
We were not expecting the trains, but they kept our grandson entertained!!
The friendlynes of the owners made me feel right at home as soon as I arrived. I had the most comfortable night on a great matress in this wonderful loghome. Will never forget that and would love to be back again.
We did not know that the hotel was so far out of town and they had no food facilities for when we arrived at 7:00 PM. The room they had for us had a common bathroom with the lobby. We had to go back to town some 23 km to eat and then decided to stay closer to town. We advised them and they would not give us any adjustment on our prepaid account. If we had known it was a bed and breakfast establishment we would have never booked there in the first place.
Loved the living space in the bears den family cabin, and my kids loved all the cute bear decor!
Family running the place are very kind and helpful, comfortable, clean room and common areas, beautiful view of the mountains
5 Night trains passing within 100 feet from our bedroom really disrupted our sleep.
We loved the fact the trains were so close. We loved the grounds and the welcoming feeling. Our boys loved throwing rocks, and the space the play with their toys in the lodge.
Nothing,we had a fabulous overnight visit.
Scenic location, warm and friendly owners, well maintained guest rooms, lot of sit out areas in the camp site.
Very close to train track and so many trains passing through out the night disturb the sleep.
Hosts were very friendly.
Not informed of wi fi Not told about breakfast
The cabin we stayed in was very cute and clean and being right next to a creek it was very picturesque.
There were railroad tracks right next to the cabin. Normally we don't mind a train or two in the night, but it ran every 30-45min from 3:30am on. We hardly got any sleep at all.
Beautiful location. The "family cabin" (actually, a doublewide trailer) is very large and was great for our family, even if it is starting to show its age a bit.
Busy railway runs next to the property. There is no controlled crossing and no train horns, but the trains themselves can be rather loud.
The location was great. The staff is very friendly. Great place to go if you're from a city and want to embrace the crisp mountain air.
There is a train that passes by about every hour, and keeps passing even at night. The train tracks were about 25-30 feet away from the cabin, so the train kept on waking me up every hour.
Owners were awesome and the beds very comfortable
There were 10 trains that passed by our window between 8pm and 8am (about 50 yards away). Good thing the kids slept through it, but ear plugs would have been a nice to have.
Loved the cabin. Easy to put the kids to bed and close the door. Was pretty exciting being so close to the train track and feeling the vibration of the trains passing! Setting is beautiful.
With kids, I missed not having a bathtub, but we made do with a shower.
Nice country setting, great bed
20 km from town
A very homely stay.
Full kitchen facilities，friendly staff，beautiful rooms，suitful for family.
Too near to the railway，a little noisy.
Very spacious! I want to visit again.
No cell service
We loved how much room it had. Exceeded my expectations. The couple running it were very helpful and friendly. Our son is nuts about trains so the trains didn't bother us a bit.
Wi-Fi was not reliable but that was a good thing for us. Not so much for the kids.
Friendly staff, Nice location, Really clean, Furnitures
It was in a beautiful location.
The train passes through the camp almost every hour. The building was only 10 meters away from the rail and it would shake every time the train passes. We could not sleep at all and I would not recommend it to anyone.
We are split on how we feel about the location. We did like the fact that it was in the mountains and the cabin we had sat close to the river with a fire pit, and the owner was quite friendly.
Did not like that we only found the place by chance as there are no good directions to it, there was no internet at all and the train ran regularly right past the cabin all night.
