Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and neat.
Noise at times.
Wonderful downtown location, close to Eau Claire Market and river trails. Great rooms, wonderful service.
The fitness facility was a little small.
Competent staff. Upgrades. Balcony .
pool water was cold
All the staff was so nice and friendly.
Sola at the Calgary Westin gave standout service. She was personable and helpful. She had a personality but the whole experience was about what she could do to make our stay enjoyable. If we were in Toronto, I would try to hire her away to manage customer service fir the company I work for.
No guaranteed parking spot for our rental even though we were paying for it. Last night had to leave car in an overflow parking lot a couple of blocks away.
Very central location near shops, restaurants. Decent size room, drawers, closet. Very clean, bright rooms. Essence restaurant great for breakfast. The Keg and Starbucks also in hotel lobby. Staff very courteous and helpful.
Gym set up a bit weird. Weight room room one side, cardio equipment on the other side. Pool in middle between the two rooms. Means you have to walk on the wet tiles to cross over to the cardio room. Dangerous! Got great pre-pay rate only to have to pay a fair bit to park the car so total daily rate not a inexpensive as it might appear.
The Rooms Location The staff that assisted us from the car and up to the room with our luggage were the best I've ever had.
I was standing in line at check-in and one staff member told me she would be right back and never came back at all. Waited quite a while before additional staff came.
Very Close to Stampede activities, very knowledgable staff.
The welcome from staff, food, drink, comfort and a smile from all members of staff who also gave good local information
The parking area is very small and expensive.
Within walking distance of the trails around the river and downtown Very comfortable bed
Not the hotel's fault: parking is horrendously expensive in Calgary
Parking is a problem Breakfast isn't inclouded in
Staff were very nice. Room was clean.
I had to park my truck a block away in a "pay" lot. One should not have to do that.
Concierge was quite knowledgeable
Old rooms, long lines, under staff, mediocre restaurants, & poor service. Not worth the stay.
Lacks cleanliness Towels and linens have bad smell. No available disposable slippers.
Good location between downtown and river Very comfortable rooms Great steakhouse restaurant Friendly staff
Worn and dirty carpeting and some furniture Bathrooms had mildew on tiles Dog peed in front of elevators and stain was still there the next day even though I reported it
Location is great.
Very pricey during the Calgary Stampede. Rooms was very small for a family of two adults and two children.
We got a lovely upgrade for our honeymoon
The price, think it's over priced but the stampede was on.
Coffee stains on the bedskirt. Beds were standard size and not queen.
The overall stay was lovely, right in downtown Calgary. The room is lovely and the bed is perfect in everyday. The staff were very warm and welcoming.
The cost to park your car can be a bit off putting, it was 38 dollars for a valet parking per day. The pool was also closed the morning we were due to leave and thus I did not get to take advantage of that.
This is a great facility for families, seniors.
i thought the pool would have a hot tub too, there wasn't one and there were a lot of children in the pool. DIssapointing to a couple in their thirties without kids.
they were very helpful and made our stay quite enjoyable.
