squeaky beds, the rooms are extremely hot in the summer, non-functional air conditioning! Reception staff (with the sole exception of one male staff who was very kind) are rude and don't care. It's not hospitality as I know it (having worked in the Front Office of big hotel companies). They charged me on a credit card belonging to someone else. (which I used, but carried an authorisation letter from the holder, as mentioned while making the booking) they still said that they need to see the card, since I didn't have it, they charged me 249 euros for a booking that was made for 200 Chf (what logic given the exchange rate?!) when I mentioned having the letter and copy of an ID, Maud, who was at the reception then, made exasperated sounds and was extremely unfriendly. The issue was resolved later, but I was extremely disappointed with the service this time. (have stayed there on 4-5 previous occasions) I will absolutely not be returning. I understand that it is a business hotel so we can't go with high expectations, but showing genuine warmth to guests is one of the first things that we learn in hotel management schools.
Free shuttle to the airport is convenient,good breakfast, the night staff at the bar/restaurant are very warm and friendly.
