Location Staff helpful Tours easy to join from hotel Great food nearby
The location is good and the stuff are very nice.
There is no hot water the day and the room we stay in the cold winter day! The stuff can not do anything about it.
perfect location (if you want to enjoy authentic China!)
pretty cold, the room were really too small. the bathroom was so unconfortable. The laundry is not for free, of course. The bar/restaurant is insanely expensive!
I loved the staff there! Also, the room was very clean, the location is really good. Me and my boyfriend had a really good time there! Internet was good too, the hotel looks traditional and the beds were really comfortable! The money were worth it!
Near to qianmen walking street..
Location is good. The building is beautiful and the staff is nice.
The public toilet...chinese style and dirty. No toilet paper. Only 2 showers and no heating in the toilet. Expensive Breakfast
the location, the place is beautiful, it is very clean, the wifi is very fast, not expensive, the staff is friendly.
at night the surroundings looks a little dangerous, but it is safe afterall.
Good location, very easy to get from airport, room is clean, spacious and cozy. Great price!
Wifi.there is no connected!
The location is excelent. The decoration is super Chinese and beautiful.
The bed was not confortable at all. I asked for a taxi to the staff and they tried to get a lot of money for that so I refused and took it taxi outside.
Good location and the room was so warm.
location is great. design of courtyard is fun. staff spoke English. nice to have restaurant/bar on the premises. common areas were large and comfy despite some smoking. wi-fi worked well; heat in rooms worked well. hot water plentiful.
provide your own water. Chinese-style bathroom with shower in the bathroom, although regular seat toilets. beds Chinese-style thus hard. walls are thin - bring your earplugs
We booked a Family Suite and when we arrived they told us there was not available that day. They gave us two rooms. We didnt want to change, it was ok so just decided to stay in two rooms
Food at the accomodation and all the staff
We had to cancel one night due to work problems and the staff was very polite. We got the money back and since there were no other rooms available by the time we got there we got a free upgrade to a suite room. We loved it.
We stayed three nights at the Hotel , and it was really excellent experience. Jake , at reception is really good and is really to help you always with a smile. We had good time at the bar with Aaron who would let me serve my drink if I wanted. Really friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The last night we shared Iranian food and Sheesha with a friend we made at the Hotel. We definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to be close from Quianmrn Square and Forbidden city.
Wifi was getting disconnected many times in the room but worked well in the common area.
Price: $33/night Convenient Clean Tours Had staff that spoke English
Not much. Beds could be softer, but most Chinese hotels have the same style beds.
Cheap for Beijing, right in the thick of things for local food, walking distance to airport shuttle, subway, restaurants, shopping & Tiananmen Square.
Staff are really noisy! Talking loudly at the crack of dawn & the noise travels. Bathroom didn't drain, toilet sometimes wouldn't flush. The restaurant gives you whatever food they feel like rather than your order (which has a full description on it) so a big breakfast which included tomatoes, mushrooms, baked beans & hash browns instead just had cold tinned corn & fries... They did give us a discount though.
The location was great, the staff were very helpful and useful. The room was very clean and comfortable.
The wifi was weak & they need to upgrade their routers to improve this.
It is located in a very convenient place from where you can visit all the touristy places in BeiJing.
It was very difficult to use the toilet as it was placed in wrong direction.
Generally, very good in terms of cleanliness, customer service, and facilities. Very close to 前门步行街 （5 minutes), to BRT and bus station is about 10 minutes, easy to find cheap and good food.
Sometimes no hot water especially early morning. It is in an alley, a bit dark.
Very near to Tiananmen Square, shopping district and restaurants Clean and adequate for our needs
Little bit tired and run down Room was small
Is really near to Qianmen Dajie. Is just take 2 minutes. There have a lot of food to eat and shopping.
The hotel is without lift. You have highlighted to the hotel that you have old people accompany. Ask them to arrange the room at low level. If not you have to climb 2 level of staircase to your room together with your heavy luggage. Is very difficult for old people.
the typical architecture ("cour carrée" in the hutong , very near to Tiananmen Square. The breakfasts are very good and the personnel is very welcoming and helpful The rooms were cleaned every day
If you ask for pack food in advance (ex: to go to the great wall in the morning very early), they wait for you to arrive in the very morning to make it. They dont do it in advance so include it in your planning !
the bed was like sleeping on a rock. wifi did not work on upper floors had to lug laptop down 2 floors each time. staff did not assist in bringing down suitcases . staff attitude towards obtaining transport to airport at end of stay was non existent. we had to cart luggage to main rd to hail a taxi
Simple but well organised and clean hotel in a traditional Hutong area (narrow streets of low rise Chinese style housing). A lot of charm. A lot of restaurants and shops round the corner, a lot of value for money around, but not much western style food for those who insist on it. Study well your map in order to find the hotel in the small Hutong lane.
The main street Quianmen Street is closed at night. This forces you to find your way through back streets after 10pm but Beijing is a pretty safe place.
