It has a small, but beautiful collection of Gothic and renessaince art worth visiting in a local gallery. Picturesque Czech town in its own right but most important feature is 3 km south, nice walk or cycle, Terezin. This was a notorious Nazi site and also has important fortresses and other relics from earlier history. A day spent here is very well spent.DavidAustralia

Even if you choose a different hotel, just walk here for breakfast. The restaurant is very good - it makes up for some of the things that we didn't like. The room itself is quite pleasant. Parking is right on the city Square, where the hotel is located (free for the weekend). You can walk anywhere, and it's a surprisingly beautiful little town. The reception and staff are super friendly.

It's definitely great value for your money. I also appreciated location - it's almost in the centre of the city, but at the same time very quiet and with largish summer terrace in the inner yard.
