The town has everything for a weekend stay. A good selection of shops, restaurants and coffee places. The market square has seats for relaxing and watching the world go by. The palace and gardens are a real gem. There are tours of the building and the gardens offer a chance to relax in a scented environment

We were on an ancestry discovery trip, so the location was convenient to some of the little towns I wanted to explore. Didn't really do any of the touristy things in Ludwigsburg, but did visit the town's square and had a great German dinner at one of the restaurants (Ratskiller).DeanUnited States of America
