Friendly staffand a good breakfast

I booked a double room, but it was a really small one.

Great value for money (paid eur 44/night for a single room) - the room
was small, but that's normal for European hotels; the air conditioner
worked perfectly and quietly, which you usually need to pay a lot
premium to get in German hotels; there's a flat screen tv (19-21" I
guess), small but with lots of channels including cnn; drinks at minibar
is icy cold and costs only 1 Euro per bottle

No hairdryer :(

It is a little old, and some upgrading is required.

It was close to the centre and the railway station. Staff was good and breakfast was excellent.

Excellent location 10 mins from centre go left to train station right opposite entrance is the road lined with shops taking you in to town. Staff were excellent nothing to much trouble even has English reading books for free if you run out of reading material as I did. Excellent breakfast good choice of food. Hotel very clean. Parking out the back of hotel for 5 cars.

The staff were excellent, we stayed in many hotels during our trip and this was one of the best hotels in terms of service and value for your money. The breakfast was excellent, and this was the only hotel with air conditioning and flat screen TVs and FREE WIRELESS (and we stayed in some 4 star hotels). The rooms are slightly small, but this is to be expected by European standards.
