This was one of my favorite hotels to stay in. Great location. The rooms were super comfortable and very very clean. The breakfast was amazing. Dehys, the host went out of his way to make everybody feel comfortable. This man works so hard to make all the guest feel welcome and comfortable. He was a very personable person and all-around great guy. If your stand in this town I would highly recommend this hotel.
Embedded in the peaceful countryside in the town of Lindau, this hotel features wonderful views of Lake Constance and the Swiss and Austrian Alps, as well as walking and cycling opportunities.

Nice central location. Great breakfast! Clean, comfortable rooms.
This hotel is in the Reutin district of Lindau, directly on Berliner Platz, a 15-minute walk from the island of Lindau and less than a 10-minute walk from Lake Constance.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the city, which was filled with vibrant culture, history, and delicious cuisine. However, the overwhelming amount of tourism detracted slightly from the authentic local experience I hoped to have.

This place exceeded our expectations ,lovely little town on Lake Bodensee. Liked wandering through village , looking at properties. Great walking tracks along the water through orchards one way and vineyards in the other direction. Everything you need is on hand , bakeries, restaurants , bank , supermarket . Public transport also good with boat, train or bus available to get to nearby and far away places.
If you like bike riding , tracks to ride on ,if walking watchout , bit busy during our stay.

Who would not love staying in a castle?
Who would not love staying in a castle? This castle had beautiful bedrooms. Our room was air conditioned, had a modernized bathroom, a wet bar, couch, desk, and a king size bed. It was a comfortable room except for the sharply pitched ceiling over one side of the bed. This required severe stooping to get in and out of bed. However, all the good in this room overshadowed this one negative. The front desk staff and the waiters (esp. Boris) were very friendly and attentive. One of the maids that we spoke with did not speak English and had difficulty with German so that made communication difficult. Another maid had a better grasp of both languages so we gravitated to her. Check in and out were easy and our restaurant acct was accurate. The view from the dining terrace was stunning. From boats and swimmers in the harbor to two swans sharing the duties of incubating their egg just over the short wall between diners and beach, to gorgeous sunsets, this was the perfect place to enjoy delicious lunch, dinner, and drinks.
Although small, there was a modern elevator, an amenity missing in many newer multi level hotels. Access to the train to the Lindau Harbor was just a 10 min. walk and access to the ferry to Lindau and several other towns, was nearly right around the corner from the hotel.

I think there's nothing much to do at Wasserburg.
I think there's nothing much to do at Wasserburg. But if you are planning to visit Lindau & can't find a place to stay, Wasserburg is a good choice. There's a train which connect Lindau & it only takes you about 15min.
Da Salvatore, a new lake-front hotel, adds some mediterranean flair to the otherwise thouroughly German family resort of Wasserburg (a Lindau-suburb). Its spic and spam rooms/appartments and restaurant terrasse offer some spectacular views on Lake Konstanz. Guests are woken by the cries of seagulls in a timely manner for breakfast, a wide variety of which is offered on the terrasse. Bavarian Weisswürste, crisp bacon, fried sausages, Alaska salmon and half a liter of Weizenbier complement the usual breads, pastries, pancakes and eggs.
Say "hotel was awesome" means say nothing about Schloss Hotel Wasserburg. I spent half of each year in hotels but this stay motivate me return to hotel and spend here my vacations. All pictures you can find about couldn't reflect atmosphere and your impressions when you open door of your room. Book and try - this is what I can say about hotel. Breakfast was perfect, location like from Harry Potter movie. Definitely will visit next Summer.
Hotel is new, very clean and very modern with some areas still under construction. Breakfast was excellent. The restaurant was closed the evening we arrived so no dinner unfortunately. Location was lovely - lots of interesting walks and views of the lake. The manager/owner stayed late to accommodate our late arrival and was very gracious. Overall, a very nice hotel and town for a quiet, relaxing stay. Recommended.

I loved the spacious and elegantly designed hotel room with a comfortable and relaxing environment. The delicious and varied breakfast options offered at the hotel were a perfect start to each day, and the luxurious spa treatments were a rejuvenating and indulgent experience
Lovely peaceful location right on the shore of the lake. The hotel had lots of history and we were made to feel very welcome on arrival. The rooms was very clean and the beds were comfortable. A few bars and restaurants within a couple of minutes walking distance.
Wasserburg is very quiet town, which is a pleasant change after visiting a number of big cities. The property is 5-10 minutes walk to most things you will need ie
Train. Cafe. Restaurant. Grocery & 15min walk to the ferry. Great place to wind down for a few days
Great location. Superior facilities; breakfast, pool, sauna, garden area, e-bikes available at the hotel, on the waterfront, quiet area, personable staff, easy access to local attractions…just to mention a few things
This is very special hotel located in a medieval castle that stands on a peninsula jutting out into Bodensee. Interiors are palatial but not over the top. Sitting on a terrace in the summertime might be a bliss
The lady at the reception was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was absolutely great. The hotel had a pleasant atmosphere. The rooms were nicely decorated and everything was clean.
