The staff were both helpful and friendly,no problems with booking out late. Hotel close to metro and easy to get to all attractions. Small clean hotel in quite location.

Easiness to upgrade and this was very cost effective! We stayed for 5 nights so this made our stay much more comfortable. Loved having the water and beer on daily basis!

this is just nit picking - only a very small issue -but would have preferred to have ordinary breakfast tea sachet (Assam etc) available everyday and not just once - but did enjoy the fruit teas too!

This hotel is an excellent value in the center of the city - an excellent base for sight-seeing and partying in the Mitte/Kreuzberg bars in the evening. I will stay here again

Location is excellent. Walking distance u-bahn station. Room is tidy. The staff is helpful.

Our room is small

The location was very handy: Märkisches Museum Metro is really just 30 seconds away and takes you in two minute to Alex. Plz and also directly to ku*dam - if you are interested in shopping in a crowd. The rooms were a good size and Junior suite great for quick snakcs and breakfast - rather than spending 16e at the hotel...The kitchenette was much better equipped than in many self-catering flats in the Med..The housekeeping in the hotel is brilliant and kept the rooms spotless. They even did our dishes! A great bakery and Lidl (with some organic stuff as well) and a fruit&veg just around the corner. Good choice to stay with grown up daughters

The air con and heating seems to be a problem. A central system does not allow individual control which meant that we were first cold and then too hot! (Dec 2011). I can just imagine July and Berlin's heat waves....

Friendly staff, beautiful entrance hall/ reception, good location. Felt very safe, good room keeping, Good shower and bathroom. Buy one get one free drink at the bar.

Although it is difficult to keep large buildings warm at this time of year, I found our room quite cold. Very old and weak hairdryer.

The hotel was next to a metro station, so it was very easy to be at the city center(Alexanderplatz) in 5 minutes. The people working in the reception were really helpful, they answered willingly to some questions we had about the city etc. It was a quiet hotel, perfect if you are traveling with your family, very comfortable rooms and one of the cleanest hotels I have visited. All in all, I would recommend it to anyone wanting to spend some time in Berlin.

We had paid on for the room on the first day upon our arrival, so the last day when we were leaving, we were informed that we had to pay for one breakfast, which we hadn't eaten(16euros additional charge). This proved to be a mistake on the part of the reception, however, and later they apologized, but maybe things like that should be double-checked, so that they don't cause distress to the customers.

very good hotel , best location just at the metro , lovely lobby and 2 nice restaurants depending of the hotel Breakfast a bit too expensive.

Bed was more comfortable than in most hotels. We cannot comment on the breakfast as we did not have this. Reception staff were extremely helpful and booking taxis was extremely quick and efficient. We appreciated the free drinks in the room fridge on our late arrival.

The staff were exceptional, excellent location for all tourist spots and huge room with everything you could need. Highly recommended.

Location - central but quiet - proximity to river and public transport - have stayed there many times and will again

Extremely helpful and knowledgable staff. Daily water and beer for guests complimentary. Good location, acroos the road from U-bahn station, able to walk to many city sights, supermarket 5 minutes walk, several restaurants close by.

Breakfast expensive, would be better to make slightly cheaper and include in room rate.
