All very good. Very recommended.
Internet was patchy.
The staff were very helpful. Dining room pleasant.
Room rather basic. 10 minute walk to tram stop, another 25 minutes trip into town.
The house seems good but they provide the next building which is cold. Internet was very bad
The staffs are super friendly. One of them makes a soft toy similar to teddy bear and its quality is quite high compared to its low price. The hotel is quiet at night and its location is not bad. The hotel is very close from Nymphenburg Palace (3 minutes by walk) and it takes about 5-10 minutes by walk to a stop where tram 16 and 17 are available every 5 minute. Both trams go the city center, which takes 10 minutes. If you have a ticket for Munich Philharmonic Orchestra, tram 16 is a direct line between the hotel and Gasteig (about 30 minutes). Tram 16 is available at night after the concerts.
Very good location just outside city centre, short stroll to tram stop, and never had to wait for one more than a few minutes. Hotel very clean, staff very friendly, breakfast more than ample. Very pleased with this hotel on first visit to Munich.
Nothing. Everything was perfect!?
Friendly staff Nice old-style main building Good breakfast
Excellent, friendly, helpful staff with fantastic travel advice! Beautiful, spacious, comfortable room! Great dining options within a short walk. Quick, easy trip to city center. Even got us an upgrade through their personal influence with the next hotel we stayed at in Strassbourg. If you want to enjoy your trip to Munich, stay here! Trust us, do not stay in the city center. We did that the first night and regretted not staying at Laimer Hof the whole time.
A charming Bavarian boutique hotel in a quiet location ten minutes' walk from the tram, which takes you into the heart of Munich in about 15 minutes. Clean and comfortable with excellent staff and a very generous continental breakfast. Would stay again.
We had a lovely stay here. Beautiful room. Very personable staff. Wonderful breakfast. Worked out well for us because we had stayed closer to city center the first two nights and wanted a little more peaceful place that was still close to city center by tram.
If you ever come to the lovely city of Munich, do yourselves a favor and stay at the Laimer hof hotel! The room was splendid and super comfortable. The shower was great (a little on the small side for the shower itself, but there was plenty of storage space in the bathroom and it was super convenient). The breakfast was so plentiful and the location was perfect! It's in a quiet and safe street and still so close to great restaurants, the Nymphenburg palace and there's such easy access to all the interesting sites in Munich (you can buy the public transportation tickets straight from the hotel). Everything is really great and thought of, but what makes this place special and a must-return-to site are the people running it! Sebastian and the rest of the team were so friendly and welcoming, we found ourselves expecting our time with them at the hotel as much as we did touring the city. They all speak excellent English, helped us out with planning our visit and kept a lively conversation that made us feel welcome and cared for. We had a lovely stay and can't wait to go back. What a great experience!
Welcome from Sebastian and all his advice. Location. Traditional house. Good value breakfast.
The room was quiet.
No slippers in rooms. Just 2 English TV channels.
Welcoming staff, elegant building, seen from outside, good breakfast. Excellent location to the palace and easy access trough tram via to town (15min).
Pity such a beautiful building hasn't preserved it's character anywhere (except the stairs) inside. Modern inside, without charisma. Mind, it seems to be almost everywhere the same in Bavaria!
Great service and friendly management and staff. All speak English well. Great location in walking distance from castle , trams, and many good restaurants . Quiet and upmarket neighborhood . Good breakfasts and well appointed rooms .
Having to to log on to wifi all the time
This is a great hotel in a nice location walking distance to the tram as well as local restaurants. Mareinplatz and city centre is about 20 minutes away on the tram /train and very easy to get to. The room is very comfortable, and had all we need for the 3 nights we stayed there. The staff were helpful and recommended places to go and see, they were very easy to chat to and make our stay even better. Breakfast was not included in our price but there are cafes and a supermarket right near the tram stop so we stopped there for breakfast before heading into the city.
Very friendly staff. Most helpful and pleasant.
Absolutely nothing negative to say about this stay.
This was a beautiful hotel enhanced by excellent customer service from Sebastian. He made us feel very welcome and provided outstanding information and advice to seeing the best of Munich. Breakfasts were excellent value.
Staff were great. Very close to the palace. Public transport was close by and it was a nice location a little out of the city centre.
You can borrow a DVD player from reception however there are no DVDs to borrow.
The hotel is in a great location with easy access to the trams which get you into the centre of Munich in about 15 mins. The staff were really friendly and helpful, especially helping with travel plans. Being able to buy train and tram tickets from the hotel reception is really handy too. Rooms were of a good standard, spotless and showers were excellent! The Breakfast selection was extensive and tasty. Overall excellent hotel which I would not hesitate to book again!
Hotel Laimer Hof is located in the lovely residential area of Nymphenburg. It is very close to the castle and within walking distance of S-Bahn and trolley stops. The friendly staff can provide you with lots of maps and recommendations.
The interior is a bit tired looking. Breakfast selection was good but not worth the additional price. The actual parking lot at the hotel has only 4 spaces but there is plenty of free parking on the street.
I was really surprised how professional and friendly the staff is. Sebastian, the owner, does a great job to make clients feel happy. The breakfast is quite good and the wi-fi connection is excellent. The area around is a nice place to visit (Nymphenburg castle). It is also quite budget place and very good value for money. I really recommend to stay here.
Given the fact that we were driving into Munich and then tour the surrounding area I did not want to have to drive in the heart of the city. Laimer Hof was suitably situated on the outskirts with parking available which was good. The hosts were extremely helpful on all counts and it was a pleasure to stay there. For excursions into the city, the hotel is situated close to Tram and Metro stations so very easy access. Although in a very quite suburban street there were enough restaurants in the vicinity to cater for all tastes and budgets. I would not hesitate staying there again or recommending it to others.
Driving through Munich! Most go at breakneck speed so when transiting the city by car watch out!
Loved the location! Great area and restaurants in easy walking distance. Friendly staff, clean and well organised Hotel. Great value for money. Would definitely stay again.
The single room I stayed in was small but fine for 1 night. If you have a lot of luggage best to book a larger room.
Very helpful staff. Better than most tourist information points. Would stay again.
