The Michelberger was such a fun and interesting hotel. The design of the room was perfect, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the bar and food were amazing and the location was right by the train and easily accesible!

The hotel is awesome, the location is great, the staff is nice

The room was a bit small and it was not very comfortable having the glass window in the bathroom

- overall atmosphere - bar - friendliness - location - budget-creativeness of the interior design - reception, easygoingness

- the sheets and towels were clean but didn't smell fresh, a bit like they were packed while still wet. - there was a starting / water leaking/fungus issue on the ceiling in the shower. - Nobody asked how my say had been when I checked out.

Hotel was amazing, their bar and food was great alongside their courtyard. Very trendy and unique hotel. Great location.

People being very loud in the courtyard in the middle of the night (only happened twice though)

Best Hip-Chic-Design Hotel that I've ever seen!! Love all joke, quote in everywhere in the hotel. Perfect for artist, creative, designer to find a new relaxing mood & smile !!

Temperature in my room. I feel a little bit hot.

Clean bedding

'Cozy' double room was cramped. Had to crawl over table to get to bed. No drink making facility'S. No where to hang clothes, very basic. Our view from room was of the coucil rubbish tip !

The staff was wonderful. The bar was excellent with a nice vibe and people hanging out there. The breakfast was great! The rooms was amazing.

A little cold in the rooms (we we´re there in wintertime). The pillows.

The Hotel, from the first moment you arrive, ooses chic and fun. We walked in and were blown away. It's quirky and unique. The staff are excellent and the location to the local transport could not be better. I would strongly recommend it to everyone!

That we had to come home!

Design, laid-back, extremely helpful and polite staff.

Bathroom shower had a see through window. Not ideal for mixed groups of friends.

The staff were SUPER friendly and the hotel was really good value for money. The mattress was v v comfortable indeed...everyone should go to the Michelberger!!!!

Incredible vibe and atmosphere as you enter the foyer. Vibey and soulful. Great frugal design with a great sense of humour.Awesome breakfast room and offering.

We had a family room with a sleeping-loft, and it was great. Spacious, cosy, fresh, inspiring. Kind of bare and clean but with nice details to make it cosy. Even though we didn't hang out there, the lounge/bar area was very inviting, cosy, relaxed and personal.

A bit to dark by the mirror. The doorknob to the shower door was loose.

The most informal hotel I've ever stayed in, they succeed in making guests feel relaxed and at home. Very helpful and friendly staff would also suit lone travellers. Very warm in cold weather,with great background music from dawn to dusk ( bedroom was however quiet),god vibe in bar and lounge and reasonable prices too. Great food,breakfast and dinner it's hard to tear yourself away. Superbly located for berlin's transport system ( similar to London tube map). Would certainly recommend it.

Rooms are limited in size and layout may not suit all eg.anyone needing bathroom in the night has to access the ladder however its good value and good fun just be prepared there's no room for much else but sleeping in rooms.

The place with outstanding atmosphere-we found it due to Baumeister magazine recommendation. This hotel is a great fusion of eco-design,simplicity, sense of humour,initimacy and "young power" of both - the staff and clients. Big Lebowski would love it...It was our first family stay in Berlin /I traveled with my husband - an architect and 17 years old daughter/ and Michelberger will stay in our memory as the icon of the city.

The only thing I would change are the prices of drinks /might be slightly lower.../

Simply reading the reviews and not looking at the pictures made a complete surprise out of me entering my loft room. Sleeping at the top bunk felt extremely comfortable, while the room blanketed me from the harsh winter cold outside. The over-all design felt very young and positively eclectic, and not over the top.

Breakfast at 11euros (outside of the room rate) is not the best option available.

we loved the breakfast, although it was a bit expensive super interior design, wonderfull decoration even in the details small things with lots of humor

Location for nightlife was crucial. Staff extremely helpful and accommodating will definitely be coming back.
