The family room was spacious and was really a suite of two rooms with a bathroom between.

We absolutely loved Villa Vie! The room was large and provided comfortable amenities (bed, chaise lounge). Our room had a castle/river view which was breathtaking! They have tons of wine to take to your room or share on the patio that overlooks the river / castle.

I was sceptic for the buffet dinner. But turned out that quality was very good. There was roasted venison, stuffed turkey, some fish and a variety of salads, desserts etc. All quite tasty and nicely presented.
As for the room: I am not sure why the king size bed had to be two joined beds. So there was a 'gap' in the middle. Otherwise the room was excellent, clean with nice furniture. Bathroom was also clean, no smells, everything very good.
We had a room with river view, which is spectacular: the castle, the city and at night everything was illuminated.
The spa facilities were also very nice. There were not many people there, which made the whole experience quite 'personal'.
Located on the Moselle River Promenade, this 3-star Superior hotel in Cochem offers rich buffet breakfasts and a terrace with great views.

Breakfast buffet is very good. Our room faced the river and was above restaurant and square so a little loud. With no AC we had to have the window/door open.
This small hotel in the heart of Cochems Old Town features wonderful views of the Reichsburg castle and the Moselle river. The Hotel La Baia welcomes you to its modern, generously equipped rooms.

Hotel is no nonsense, with all basic comfort.
Situated direct on the main promenade.
The have a good (Italian) restaurant, small choice on the card but very good food !
We were very disappointed in the breakfast, here the hotel must do some improvements.
At 9h28 (breakfast till 10h) there was almost no more food. They serve no warm food, no sausages, no warm eggs,, EVEN NO CROISSANT? and for the rest very little choice. for which we paid 15 euro per person....probably the worst German breakfast hat we have ever had.
After breakfast we (and other visitors) went to the local bakery to get some croissants :-)
This castle-style hotel offers rooms with free Wi-Fi, and a free parking. It stands beside the River Moselle in the Medieval town of Zell.

We loved our stay at Hotel Schloss. Both Karin and Norbert were very welcoming, informative and helpful. Our room like all of the hotel was full of character and very comfortable. Breakfast was a delightful experience and the *local box" of breakfast foods was fantastic.
The hotel location is excellent, near the centre but still very quiet There is ongoing work being carried out to upgrade the hotel but it was not impactful.
Hotel Schloss is highly recommended. Our stay there was a truly lovely experience. .
The suit was very big, equipped with everything one might needs and in terms of price/quality , it is a good deal.
The host was friendly. the rooms very clean.
(As for Internet, actually I don't remember if we used it or not, but it was not provided to us anyway and our visit was really short to ask for that.)
the terrace outside our suits was really good , and useful (although due to tall trees , there was no view on the river).
all in all, it was a good hotel. my wife was very happy about it.
The room was very comfortable and we slept extraordinarily well. No expense has been spared to bring the room up the latest standards with the feel of a high-end boutique hotel room. The soundproofing is excellent, the shower was especially lovely. It is a bit of a surprise to find such comfort in a house that from the outside is very typical of the area. The hostess was very helpful. You can indeed get here with the public bus from Bullay (or Cochem) but you should plan using the DB app.
The property has a lovely design that makes you feel like you're in a boutique hotel. The kitchen is fully equipped and the terrace is massive with a beautiful view. Absolutely loved this place!
