Beautiful holiday accommodation, beautiful nature and no long journeys - why not spend your holiday in the Harz Mountains! The holiday homes in the Torfhaus HARZRESORT, with their cozy fireplace and private sauna, are just the thing for a relaxing holiday. From the spacious wooden terrace you have a wonderful view of the national park and the Brocken. Torfhaus is located in the Upper Harz, in a small usage zone of the Harz National Park, around six kilometers east of Altenau and nine kilometers south of Bad Harzburg. Thus, you can combine the advantages of a quiet holiday in nature with visits to the lively spa town of Bad Harzburg, where there are many restaurants, cafes and shopping opportunities in addition to the spa facilities. Highlights included: All consumption-based energy costs, bed linen and towels WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS Sky football Activities in the area: Hikers and mountain bikers are in their element here: Torfhaus is an ideal entry and starting point for tours of all kinds. Numerous well-signposted hiking trails of different lengths lead through the Harz National Park. Mountain bikers can start here on tours of the routes of the "Volksbank Arena Harz", and if you haven't brought your own bike with you, you can easily rent a mountain bike or e-bike here. The small town is also a fantastic starting point for motorcyclists for the most beautiful trips. In winter, Torfhaus is an interesting destination for downhill and cross-country skiers as well as sledging enthusiasts: some beautiful cross-country trails, a tow lift for skiers and a toboggan lift exclusively for sledders promise varied fun in the snow.
