The village lies along the Rhine and is not much.
The village lies along the Rhine and is not much. The promenade along the Rhine is attractive. There is also a castle higher up with a restaurant, which I do recommend. There is also a nice walk in that area.WillyBelgium - 8.0Scored 8.0

Positively busy place, plenty of restaurants to choose from. I can recommend the Altes Stadtweingut. Pretty scenery, good for hiking. The Roman museum is a must-visit if you're into history, and there's also an accompanying hiking route. Don't come just for the waterfront, it's better in other nearby towns. Parking in Bad Hönningen is not a great experience.SandraNetherlands

It was very quiet so we were one of only two couples staying there so had plenty of space and basically the entire castle to ourselves. We stayed in the ZauberKammer which was very spacious. The facilities were fairly basic but one would expect that as it's not a hotel. Overall it was a pleasant stay and the host was always available to assist if needed.MelissaAustralia
