The room was plain, with a comfortable bed, heating was working and there was a TV as well. The main building includes a lovely reception area with a fireplace, bookshelves and bar, and the dining/breakfast area is decorated very tastefully and brings a relaxed vibe.
The breakfast is much improved compared to what I've seen in previous reviews: they have delicious fresh baked bread, and a selection of fruit, cold cuts as well as warm breakfast dishes - pancakes and sausages were the highlight of the latter. Coffee is freshly prepared for each table, and you have the option for tea and other accomodations. The breakfast staff was very kind when we asked for a pot of tea to bring into the room, which they arranged on a tray for us. A welcome gesture.
The hotel is located in between a beach/cliffs area and a forest with other vacation houses, which makes it great for a stroll around in the morning or after dinner. The nearby town is easily reachable by car or on foot.
We did not spend much time in the spa facility but the booking process with reception worked smoothly, we called ahead and had good communication on arranging a time with the staff.
