The stay at La Goleta was fabulous. The reception staff was great, and Carlos in particular was excellent - he gave many useful tips and recommendations for how to spend time on the island and also where to park and find local products. The room was perfect - quiet and clean. One of the best things about the place was the delicious breakfast - wide selection of items with quite a few local specialities (or things made with local products). The hotel prides itself on sustainability and promoting local products and it shows.

Nice hotel. Room with balcony. Just a block from long attractive beach. Fairly short walk into center of town.Pretty pool in back. Excellent buffet breakfast. They will happily offer to cook you an omelet . Helpful staff. Easy free parking nearby.

Port de Pollensa is easily accessible from Palma airport, less than an hours drive. It is a really lovely town with lots of restaurants, bars and shopping. The shops are mostly independent shops, no chains thankfully. There is a lovely vibe to the place, it is kept immacutely clean and it feels very safe, we did notice a discreet drive around by Guardia Civil every evening. We were there just at the end of the shoulder season in May, it wasn't too busy, parking in free spots was freely available. Favourite restaurants were Restaurante Torre Playa, good selection to chose from and good quality. We discovered Marc's on our last night, food was excellent, great value and staff were fabulous.

Port de Pollensa is a lovely resort with lots of fantastic restaurants, a lovely beach, and the Pine Walk - which is a nice stroll beside pine trees and the sea. There is also a harbour. It is great for young families - clean sand, shallow sea - and for older people - it's flat. Also a great starting point for mountain biking; my husband did a 40km route and a 70km route. Not so good for teenagers and young people as we couldn't find anywhere to hire paddle-boards, or any similar sea 'fun'. Maybe further south there was something but not near Pollensa centre.

IT HAD BEEN A WHILE SINCE I VISTED PORT DE POLLENSA, IT REMAINS A NICE PLACE TO VISIT, NICE WALKS, PLENTY OF ESTABLISHED PLACES TO EAT, GOOD TRANSPORT CONNECTIONS. THERE HAS BEEN LOTS OF DEVELOPMENTS IN THE TOWN, BUT MAINLY TASTEFULLY DONE, THE BEACH AND BAY AREA REMAINS A POSITIVE. APRIL SEEMS TO MAKE THE AREA A HAVEN CYCLISTS.

Quiet seaside area with attractive houses and small apartment blocks. Plenty of trees and flowers. Easily reached from the main road, but very quiet. Bus services seem good, but we used our hire car. An hour's drive from the airport, but bus journey probably involves a change.

The jetty to swim is just opposite only 20m away and this end of the pine walk has a more exclusive feel to it. The apartment has all the amenities one needs to stay on the beach and to self cater including washing machine,dishwasher and excellent Wi-fi. Just behind the apartment is the Formentor store and cafe - ideal for stocking up and for a leisurely brunch. We’ll certainly be heading back - I hope soon!

Everybody was so friendly and relaxed, and that although it is for sure not that easy with so many tourists and so many hours of work during the season. Also the whole building is just nice, it really has a long tradition i guess as you can see pictures on the walkways of the old structure. Situated just on the beach. We really liked it. The staff was friendly and attentive. The location was perfect, right on the waterfront. The surprise that really drove this positive review is the breakfast was great! I'm a cyclist and the breakfast was much better than a North American style continental of buffet breakfast. The food options were healthy, very tasty and gave me the energy for my busy days.
