Restaurant choice in the area is fantastic.
Views are stunning.
Boat trips, walking, golf, cycling, markets and historic towns to visit are close by.
The town is not noisy or overrun with party goers, however Alcudia provides this and is only 10 minutes away.
Most hotels in Port de Pollensa are not child friendly and in general, it would seem that the resort does not want to encourage you to visit if you have younger children.
For instance, there is no public swimming pool to use anywhere in the town, and although the hotels pool areas appear to be empty, they have security and do not allow you to sit around or to use their pool unless you are staying there - so make sure that you're prepared for a beach holiday.
We did discover that the Cabot Pollensa Park allows guests to visit and they have an amazing children's pool area for ages up to around 11ish.
The beaches opposite the apartment we booked, although inviting and convenient, often have a red flag, this apparently means that the sea water has high pollution levels. We walked around a mile around the bay to the beach in front of Llaüt Beach Bar. This is a great area to sunbathe, with beach front bars, restaurants, supermarkets and water sports.

Puerto Pollensa is a beautiful resort with a fantastic beach...
Puerto Pollensa is a beautiful resort with a fantastic beach. You can have the best of both worlds, hustle and bustle of restaurants, pine walk and the square with live music and bars or more peaceful and serene in the top end of the resort. There is plenty for couples and families alike with play areas on the beach for children, non-motorised water sports and plenty of boat trips to take. It’s a great place for cyclists and runners too. There are many great places to eat, Liberty Kitchen is worth a visit and the food is delicious but if you want a real treat go to the Torre Playa, the food is by far the best in Puerto Pollensa and it’s reasonably priced too but make sure you book in advance as it is always busy. The resort and beach are incredibly clean. Others areas are also easily accessible by bus and a trip to Alcúdia Old Town is well worth it. We will definitely be coming back to Puerto Pollensa.

It's a lovely port.
It's a lovely port. Plenty of boats to watch and a beautiful beach with restaurants near by including some fine dining if that is your thing and you have the budget. The beach is narrow, but stretches a long way and it was easy to find a spot. Lovely sandy beach with really warm clear water. Easy to get the bus to Pollensa itself which is a lovely historical town and also to other beaches like Formentar, which is beautiful. The best restaurants for food tend to not be on the front, though of course they are perfect when you simply want a cocktail and the view of the sea.

The property was in a great position right on the front of the Pine walk with fantastic views.
Apartment very clean and comfortable with lovely homely touches.
Near to the beach and a jetty out front that you can swim from.
We enjoyed the walk along the sea front to get into the busy part of resort.
Lovely shop and restaurant just at the back of apartment and short walk to Illa D’or hotel.
Looking at a return trip next year.
Host very approachable and helpful if needed.
Such a charming hotel in a fantastic location on Pine Walk with beautiful views across the bay. Our room was great with a comfortable bed, the only slight niggle was the shower tray had a slow leak and left a puddle on the floor each time we used it. We reported this to reception, who immediately arranged for a member of the team to investigate, however the repair didn't fully rectify the issue. The breakfast was superb!
Great location just off the Pine Walk and beach, very clean, good on-street parking, at the quiet end of the beaches (not that anywhere in Port de Pollença is noisy!). Good cooking facilities. Modern studio apartment good size with shower and balcony. You also have the backup of the Bahia "sister" hotel if you have any issues...which we didn't..all in all a great place. Lovely pool too.
location is fantastic as it is right on the pine walk, gorgeous view of the bay and surrounded by excellent bars and restaurants. The hotel staff are all helpful, friendly and go out of their way to provide any assistance that you may need.
The first floor balcony provides a lovely location for cocktails and meals.
All areas around the hotel were lovely. Staff were very friendly and always went above and beyond for you. They always had an extra touch to add. The location was ideal, 3 minutes walk around the corner and you were on the beach front with lots of shops and bars.
