La Seu d´Urgell is a very nice town in the Catalan Pyrenees.
La Seu d´Urgell is a very nice town in the Catalan Pyrenees. Close to the Andorran ski resorts and national parcs. It has a very nice Olympic wild water park and a very nice quiet and peaceful environment. You can walk, cycle, ski, climb, find organic herbs, or simply be quiet and take it all in.

Old part of the town was lovely and you could walk around it...
Old part of the town was lovely and you could walk around it easily. There was a park that was used for the 1992 Olympics for the canoeing events. There was a lack of restaurants open in the evening especially on Sunday.ElaineUnited Kingdom

The atmosphere is something precious as is the feeling that you are a guest in someone’s house. Reading out front on the hotel’s sunlit porch in the afternoon was heavenly. Likewise reading in the parlor after the sun had set—I loved that old tuba on the wall. We learned so much about the hotel’s history and aboutCatalonia from the owner. A great experience.

On Saturdays there is a local market in that street and then you can not park there and have to walk 5 minutes to a (free) central parking spot. The room was fine with the largest bed I've ever seen in hotels with a width exceeding 2,5 meters... Breakfast was OK. Lovely the heaters they have at several places.

The restaurant is very good offering a choice of traditional and local dishes. The reception staff are very helpful and resolved a problem with booking without fuss.
