Breakfast was great and included large selection of homemade food. Lovely coffee and cakes. Penny was really helpful and kind. The room was spacious and clean with a great view of the sea. The bed was comfortable and the village was peaceful. We would stay in the same hotel if we visit Mallorca again. It is a great place to stay if you want to go on lots of walks around the coast and into the mountains.

It’s nice! Has a pretty view of the sea. The nearby free parking is helpful, unless the small lot gets full then the options are much more limited. Continental style breakfast was great and fresh. The terrace is really pretty.

We had a room below the dinning area (outside deck). Asked ahead for a quiet room, but not so quiet.
Great view & nice dinner servers, breakfast servers, just ok.
Enjoyed our 2 nights.

The property was beautiful & well kept. The owners put effort into little details & were very helpful. They prepared a very nice breakfast. The location was great. We did have a little trouble parking at first but the owner assisted us. We loved the little balcony in our room.

The property’s physical location, on-site food prep, architectural styling and design choices are all in exceptional. Aside from that, the staff went above and beyond to ensure the guests are well looked after and comfortable. We were very lucky to get a room so close to the opening after renovation.

Accommodations were clean & adequate for our needs (we don't visit places to stay in rooms). We wanted a nice place to stay while we went exploring the Island via rental car. In evenings, we ate mostly at local restaurants and we did not have a bad meal; in fact, most were quite good in terms of nutrition and portion size, and reasonably priced. And the food was always fresh. The biggest issue for us was parking & driving; the rental agency gave us a big Jeep and it was a pain to drive on some of the small (tiny, narrow, curvy) roads we drove on when exploring other parts of the Island

We stayed 3 days in this absolute gem of a place.
We stayed 3 days in this absolute gem of a place. We counted at least 7 eating options and a variety of shops. It's a very historic village which clings to the hillside with cultivation terraces all the way down to the coast. A rewarding stay after the narrow and winding road to get there.

Banyalbufar is a small mountainside village of about 500 residents which is swollen by holday home owners and tourists in summer. Not recommended for people with mobility issues! Steps and steep inclines all over.
Restaurants that we used were good and there is a convenience store and a pharmacy. They all close a least one day a week. There is a beach but its a long way down from the main drag and its stony. If you enjoy dramatic views and sipping drinks on terraces whilst watching the sunset, it's fabulous!

Banyalbufar was lovely, peaceful and unspoilt when we visited in early July. The quality and selection of restaurants all within easy walking distance of the hotel was a really nice surprise. We took our 6 year old to the beach and thought it was fine for kids her age if they don't mind the steep walk home but you'd want to take a sunshade and maybe rock shoes as it can be slippery and hot on the rocks.

Superb sea and mountain views.
Superb sea and mountain views. Excellent hill walking options. (Try the Cami des Correu marked walk to Esporles). Several good restaurants, try Sa Tomas for great sea food and paellas.
Banyalbufar is really a large village set on hillside terraces first established by the Moors; so steep hills and narrow streets.

This town was my favorite of all that we visited in Mallorca. Very small and quaint, but amazing food at the restaurants we visited. A number of places were closed when we went in October, but I would still go back to try more restaurants and the bodega that we weren't able to see. Everyone was extremely friendly, and the views from the entire town can't be beat. GO HERE!!
Truly exceptional hotel in all the means. Great staff mastering the customer relations, delicious cuisine, beautiful garden with heated pools and amazing surroundings and view at mountains and sea. Place with divine energy where one come for few days and has the feeling to stay forever. As my husband said, this hotel will be always fully booked in the future when people realize the value of staying there. We have traveled Mallorca staying in several other 5* hotels, but there is no other place like Finca Son Bunyola.
Perfect place in wonderfull Banyalbufar!! We loved everything. The kindness of the owners, the location overlooking the sea, the beautifull house in a relatively quiet area of Mallorca, but most of all the food.
There was a very nice breakfast with new specialty's every morning, served at your table with fresh ingrediences but the dinner (served three times a week) was seriously good food. (We expect a michelin star in the future.) It was magical overall.
Thanks for everything!
Very sweet family hotel in a beautifull destination with the loveliest staff. Design of the hotel, rooms and views were wonderfull. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was super delicious with many vegan options because we asked for. Lot of fresh fruit, vegetables and fresh orange juice. And since we stayed during Christmas, they prepared the most delicious Christmas dinner for us for a very fair price - even though it was only the 4 of us in the entire hotel that night .
this is one of those gems that you “hope” tho find: the property is clean and unbelievably gorgeous nestled on the hills overlooking the sea. Splurge for rooms with a terrace if you can afford it because the views are stunning. Service is delightful and bicycle friendly. They provided us with an antique key to lock our bicycles securely in the storage room below. We cannot say enough about how magical this hotel is.
I absolutely fell in love with the hotel!
It was far beyond than what I expected. We arrived around 8pm and the sunset was amazing from the hotel’s restaurant! We had a great table to watch the sunset and eat something. The food was delicious. I felt like they do give their love and passion to what they bring to the table. Also breakfast was great too.
Location wise, we rented a car, so it was convenient for us.

The staff/owners were so welcoming and thoughtful. They assisted with transportation when needed and even made us breakfast/lunch when we had a very early pick up time for the airport. Room was clean and views were amazing! The restaurant at the hotel is excellent. I will definitely stay here again. Thank you for an amazing vacation!
Nothing stood out in good or bad. Positive points : The room was calm. The breakfast was good. Decoration is nice in the room.
There is a good heating/ air co.
Not a lot of convenience services (body lotion, mini bar, water boiler, coffee machine, vanity set … that i would expect to see in this range of hotel (cost-wise)
Perfect location with sea view. Beautiful terrace to enjoy the breakfast and sunset.

Very clean, nice breakfast, parking, big closet in the bedroom and comfortable bed. Air conditioning and Wifi in the bedroom.
Attentive and friendly staff.

Town and beach are amazing
Banyalbufar is like a paradise. And this hotel the best way to experience it.
Excellent support from Maria. Very well appointed house. Outdoor seating area with sea view. Everything you could need in kitchen and for washing clothes. 3 bedrooms so plenty of room. Super cliff walk into Bunyalbufar. Chance to see the new 5*
Branson hotel on the way. Quiet village.
A sweet little hotel, lovingly looked after. The team is really great and tries to fulfil all wishes.
At the weekend I had to leave well before breakfast time due to a sporting event, but everything I wanted was provided in the fridge. Thank you once again, Team Paula!
Honestly, we feel like we stumbled upon heaven in the mountains. The town, the hotel, the staff, the beaches and the sunsets. If I had tried to find perfection I never would have gotten this lucky. Part of me wanted to leave the world behind and move here fulltime.
It’s nice! Has a pretty view of the sea. The nearby free parking is helpful, unless the small lot gets full then the options are much more limited. Continental style breakfast was great and fresh. The terrace is really pretty.
Has a nice swimming pool area and a restaurant with a view. The location is very good and has few parking spaces available nearby. Also had bus stop nearby and you could take buses for starting hikes in other villages.
Very good location, and the view was so pretty from the hotel. It was right in the center of the village. A very helpful and lovely host family, they were so kind. Breakfast was delicious!
Very high end hotel with excellent staff and standards. Pool area very relaxing as was hotel in general. Great place to stay if you want to totally unwind and get away from it all.
