Can Pastilla, in the midst of it all!
Location is definitely one of the best assets of Can Pastilla, just a 5-minute drive from Palma de Mallorca Airport and a 10-minute drive from Palma’s Old Town. Although today sun lovers populate its golden beaches and hotels, Can Pastilla was only a small fishing village 60 years ago, no more than a hamlet centered around the small San Antonio de la Playa church. It's also fair to say that Can Pastilla is relatively calmer than other resorts in the area.

It was peaceful pleasant calm and the people were so friendly kind and happy . It was lovely to be able to watch the sun goinf down eating dinner . Found an amazing place looking out onto the sea and marina - was calm and very good for lone travellers never once felt afraid or alone . Perfect for couples or anyone who wants a calm break away from fast pace life - calming and tranquil to a fault ! This Hotel is just perfect, the food is lovely, lots of choice for breakfast and evening meal, good standard. Every member of staff is polite and cant do enough for you. In my opinion this hotel could easily be a four or five star establishment. Can Pastilla is a lovely resort, quiet and with a chilled vibe, and best of all its 10 mins from the airport! Popular places are a bit far from each-other however if you like to ride bicycles then you can rent an ordinary or electric bike. Be careful about rental companies, there are expensive and also cheap places that you can rent exactly the same bicycle with double/triple prices. Public transport is also easily possible. I also recommend to attend tours to the caves and to the mountains. If you are interested in wind surfing this beaches are exactly for you. P.S. Don’t forget to visit Europe’s biggest coral aquarium

It was great for a short city break in that it was just along from Palma and we could very easily get a bus in to the city. The area itself was great for walks along the beach and to sit in little cafes/restaurants and have coffee/lunch and soak up the sun and watch the sea and kite surfers etc. Yes it was close to the airport, but we never really heard the planes - I would definitely stay in the area again.5SandraUnited Kingdom - 4.0Scored 4.0

BORING There is no entertainment in the area apart from in the large AI hotels, which I think is unfair. All there is to do in the evening is go for a meal, of which the standard is not high, expensive and not great, then walk along the promenade which was nice as a one off but not every night! or drink which is also very expensive compared to other resorts. People congregate on the prom wall outside these hotels to watch/listen many are drinking. This is mainly a spanish/german resort. It has good bus links with Palma which is fortunate if you want a nice meal. It is very convenient for the airport if you have either a very early or late flight, only 5 min away and the aircraft noise is not loud.

I liked it because its more quiet. If you take a walk towards El Arenal in the night you will find a lot more drunk tourists. There are great bus connections to Palma, the bus goes every 10 minutes. I would avoid those tourist stores for food and snacks shopping. They try to scam you by not writing the prices on the items.AAnonymous

The hotel was very clean and much nicer than in the pictures. Great range of food at breakfast and dinner, both buffet style. The shower water pressure was really good. The hotel is in a great location, by the beach and restaurants and bars in can pastilla, only 10 mins from the airport and 15 or so minutes drive from Palma. The hotel was great value for money and we will definitely come again.

The all inclusive room/BF/Dinner for approx EUR63 (single) was such a wonderful offer as I'm on the road 6 weeks on tight budget. So lovely to be in such a lovely hotel with super professional staff. It was my pleasure!!! Thank you to all the team esp on the restaurant who are really under the pump with full dining room esp over the weekends and never fail to keep smiling and helping everyone enjoy their precious time.

The rooftop pool area was amazing and the food at pool bar was 10/10 proper good food! The rooms were so clean although it’s just a pity the room I stayed in wasn’t a little bigger. I did see into some other rooms when cleaners were in and they looked much bigger. The beds were really comfortable and the shower was excellent. Good I’m the restaurant was good also much better than most all inclusive places I’ve stayed.

But it takes around 40 minutes to the center of Palma by bus and about 10 minutes to the airport. Also the breakfast and dinner buffet was not expensive and had many different great choices.
