This stylish boutique hotel has colorful, modern rooms in the historic center of the city, just a 4-minute walk from Las Ramblas and Plaza Catalunya. There is a rooftop hot tub and terrace.
Score from 585 reviews Very good
In the Gothic Quarter and next to Urquinaona Metro Station, HCC Montblanc includes a terrace with a small outdoor pool.

With a rooftop pool offering great views of Barcelona, Andante Hotel is in a central location just a quarter mile from Drassanes Metro Station and La Rambla.
Score from 2210 reviews Excellent
Hotel SB Diagonal Zero Barcelona is across from Barcelona’s Forum Convention Centre, and a 5-minute walk from the beach. It has a spa and gym, and a rooftop pool and bar with spectacular views.
Score from 1984 reviews Very good
Great location, comfortable and clean room. Very spacious shower facilities in my room.
Breakfast is very expensive (this is usual in Spain) but many places around offer cheap alternatives. No minibar in my room.
What a great location, 10 minute walk from the metro, quiet street, really friendly helpful staff, would definitely stay again
The receptionist was exceptionally rude The power in the room failed all the time The room smelt stale The room had a small window facing onto a wall
The location was excellent and in a place like Barcelona where we were out all day, all that mattered was the cleanliness, the comfortable bed and the good shower...
Room temperature was too hot: we were told that the air-conditioning was centrally controlled and that the unit in the room was irrelevant.
Great location, very clean, nice terrace, reception is very nice and helpful.
The beds are extremely hard. Since the comfort of sleeping is the number one reason for a hotel I sadly cannot recommend this hotel.
Room was clean and comfortable, excellent price for money. Very good location, easy to go to city centre, very good connection to public transport. Late check out was not charged due to low traffic on Monday.
Room was a bit dark and we had the lift next to us.
Room was big, house keeping VG, location excellent on the edge of medieval El Born with great shops, gelato, bars and tapas. Only 10 mins walk to Gotic or La Barceloneta/ beach. Love the free bottled water. Staff helpful.
I stayed a week and loved it. Only quibble would be noise from the street on weekends, but quite reduced with the double glazing - you expect it being close to the action.
Location, Cleanliness, room size.
Lack of complimentary tea/coffee in the room.
Immaculately clean Excellent location Lovely shops and tapas bars nearby Staff very helpful Very comfortable beds
Breakfast was 12euro per person and was disappointing - cold scrambled eggs, cold sausage, cold bacon. The food that was meant to be cold was lovely - bread, cheese, fruit, juice, ham, cereal etc. There were plenty of places to eat nearby though so this didn't affect my stay.
Location is just excellent. Hotel's bar is pretty decent as well. View from the rooftop is magnificent.
Water in the pool should be warmer. Internet connection sucks (c'mon it's XXI century). Constant problem with magnetic card which opens the door.
Spacious and bottle water are free.
Hot water is unsteady when bathing.
location quiet clean roof swimming pool easy access proper size
Bed staff bathroom
the staff were kind, helpful. Great breakfasts, and the location could not be better.
Front Office staff fantastically helpful. great value. Left luggage secure. Very Clean.
Breakfast buffet could be better, more choice needed & more staff to replenish. Scrambled eggs disappointing.
Location is very good. 5 mins to metro station. But there's no real need for a metro because almost everything can be reached by walking (I mean if you are a tourist and ready to walk). The hotel is not big, but very very good. The greatest idea is a fridge with water on each floor. Pool on a roof cannot really be used by adults, but the space for sun-tanning is excellent.
Almost no soundproof. But. If you walked all day, then went partying in the evening, you'll sleep anyway)))
Concierge was extremely helpful.
Nice room, great shower and very nice restaurant/bar on site. The added bonus is the great roof terrace with small pool to cool down in. The hotel is perfectly located for the best of the gothic quarters many bars, restaurants, squares and eateries.
I would have prefered ironing facilties in the room than having to pay 5€ per item for the staff to do. I would also have preferred tea and coffee facilities in the room (although they do provide free bottled water in fridges around the hotel)
We loved the neighborhood. Great restaurants, close to things without the crowds of Las Ramblas. Tom at the desk went above and beyond his job to help us.
Only a buffet breakfast...too much food.
A very nice hotel, in a great location. Only 5-minutes from the Parc de la Ciutadella and close enough to the metro. Didn't have breakfast as there are plenty of local places which are much cheaper. Would strongly recommend, but maybe not if you have a young child...
...The room was on the fourth and had a window which could potentially be opened far enough for our toddler to get out. So although we didn't spend much time in the room, we had to watch him at all times.
People who are looking for nightlife and museums, this is the place for you! It is about 2 blocks from the Picasso museum and there are many restaurants and bars nearby. The restaurant connected to the hotel is excellent and had great service! The room was very chic and nicely decorated. We are vegan and there is a vegan restaurant (Gato Vegan) about 3 blocks away. You can get anything you want only a few blocks from this hotel. It was near to the cathedral and main square. I would 100% go back and stay at this hotel.
Nothing! It was great!
The location was wonderful
My room was very small, dark and dingy - at the back of the hotel - no windows. Beds very hard.
Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Hotel is a little expensive but location is great. 10 min stroll to les rambles. Lots of nice places to eat around the area, but you have to explore side streets to find them! Did not eat in hotel so cannot comment! We had a room on 4th floor and had no issues with noise. Air con in room.
Excellent location in the old town; perfect for strolling amongst the old streets & alleyways, especially early morning and evenings; Picasso museum just around the corner. Simple but well furnished (modern & new-looking) & decorated, comfortable bed & room. All staff, from cleaning ladies to reception staff very friendly, polite & helpful (we asked if they could store our cases until 5.30pm on the day of departure & there was no problem). Free water bottles stored in refrigerators on every floor extremely welcome! Good choice of breakfast. Good value for the money.
Very little to dislike, although some might find rooms on the street a little noisy – not us, we liked the atmosphere!
