La Paz is a beautiful and idyllic neighbourhood in the eastern part of Puerto de la Cruz. Until the end of the sixties, there were only large banana plantations with some magnificent mansions. Nowadays, this neighbourhood has developed into a pleasant residential area, where you can also find some of the most beautiful villas and the best hotels in Puerto de la Cruz, such as the Hotel Botanico or the Hotel Atlantic Mirage. Villa Oasis La Paz is situated on the seafront on the cliff above Playa Martianez and Lago Martianez, the largest natural seawater pool complex in Europe, designed by the famous artist César Manrique. From the Villa you can walk past the 16th century chapel "El Amparo" up the stairs of Camino las Cabras to the beach and also to the historic centre of the town in a few minutes. In the immediate vicinity of the village there are a multitude of options and services such as restaurants, shops, supermarket, bank and pharmacy. Nature lovers and sports enthusiasts will also get their money's worth. A hiking trail starts right in front of the house and leads through banana plantations to the beach Playa El Bollullo. A large tennis and paddle tennis court as well as the Rosaleda Club golf course are also within walking distance. And for the more adventurous, a few hundred metres down the cliff there is a paragliding runway, and with the right wind you can fly along the coast. A recommendation: there is a reasonably priced airport shuttle bus (Canary Shuttle) which stops directly in front of the house, so that you can also travel to us comfortably from the northern or southern airport without the need to hire a car.
