Hotel was really nice ! Loved that they had bathrobes in room and really nice quality bath and body products. Great bath tub ! The breakfast bakery items and coffee excellent !
For a hotel of this class was insane not to have a bellman to bring my bags to room!! This was really a big deal to me!!! Insane and lowers the class of hotel. Loading my bags on a cart my self and managing to get them in and out of elevator was really hard on me as I have had back surgery . I travel all over the world and was shocked by this
Quality four-star hotel just a few steps from the beach and one block from the main street with restaurants, bars and shopping. They have a great spa/relaxation center with Turkish (wet) & Finnish (dry) saunas, hot and cold pools, etc. Not to mention the rooftop pool and sundeck with amazing view!
Most of the hotel staff were pretty clueless. Two of them didn't even know how to do the check out when it was time for me to leave and they went to go find the one staff member who was basically doing everything to run the entire hotel.
Everything! The majority of the staff were really helpful and polite when we had an issue with the TV not working the problem was dealt with very well. It is a brand new hotel, much more modern in design and amenities than others we were looking at Great roof deck bar and pool and plenty of tables overlooking the beach. Right in the middle of the beach and strip - can walk either direction and still enjoy a good 1/2 mile of shops, restaurants, bars and beach. Yet, it never felt loud. Very sizeable outdoor deck that was private despite location; did have side view of beach/water if peering between hotels but not a great view if that's important Yet we didn't think it was worth extra for a straight on sea view. Fantastic spa in the basement that has 3-4 dipping pools of various temperatures and jets, a hot dry sauna and several different types of showers you can use for an hour a day which we were the only ones down there around 11am. Perfectly suitable gym on the roof with several treadmills, new elliptical and free weights plus a big tv to watch while working out, or you can look over out on the roof deck and sea.The free parking is nice but it's in a huge city lot that is about a 2 block walk not that you'd need your car in this town but you will need to drop off bags then drive it / walk it back.We had steaks in the restaurant cooked by Sonia one of the chef's it was the best steak we have ever had.
The breakfast menu needs to be more available as some mornings we had to ask for it usually when the younger staff were on they seemed to chat amongst themselves instead of dealing with guests. The other menus need to be more readily available as when we first got there we didn't think they offered food as there were no menus in sight Also there needs to be a less formal menu for daytime. The rooms were well cleaned except for one of the staff who didn't wash dirty glasses, empty the bins or clean the room well but once we complained to Massimo this was rectified. The hotel only opened in June this year and still has some teething problems but we had a good chat with Massimo and Christina and they liked input from guests so they can deal with the issues raised. I believe if there are problems then it is how they are dealt with that is key to the standards of a hotel and the staff at the Cosmopolita deal with any issues professionally and with courtesy.
Very new and modern hotel. Good breakfast, excellent location and nice spa facilities.
Suites in the front are very noisy in the evening because of the bars in front.
Very rich breakfast with special plates difficult to find in other hotels. Very good room, fashion outside terrase with sea view and dj.
Probably missing people to work, at least when we needed a service in the restaurant or spa we had to wait. But they were helpfull.
Very clean, new hotel on the beach front tiling in the recepton outstanding, excellent choice of food for breakfast including full english breakfast.roof top pool with all amenities.room very comfortable,it had a nice dining terrace on the beach where you can have drinks after dinner, did not use the resturant because it was overpriced and Playa de Aro has an abundance of eating places
Although we were told that the hotel did not have a car park, when we arrived we were given a plastic card for a municipal car park and told to take the car and leave it there, and this was a 5 minute walk away and this was supposed to be a 4star hotel. Made the mistake of booking a superior room thinking we would get a seaview room, it was if you hung out over the glass barrier to look down the side of the hotel and you could just see it.and that costs 115 euros more than a standard room also no tea or coffee making facilities in the room Had a spa room in the basement but the decor had black granite tiling with very subdued lighting and foot lights which blinded you when you walked past, also there were no hand rails into the different pools which makes this place an accident waiting to happen for an elderly or infirmed person
Great Breakfast, clean and new rooms, very good hotel in general
location, design, facilities
small room, parking
Location by the sea, breakfast, spa, pool, staff, restaurant
Wi fi could be better but this is not a thing you have to worry about
It is not a big hotel. It is cosy, relaxing very clean with a very friendly staff . I think it is the best on that location which has very convenient excess to restaurants and main street.
The only thing I wish the hotel had is the business center - excess to internet
Seriously untrained staff and poor management
Big Balcony with view of beach Very modern Had everything you needed The sunbeds & Pool on the roof with a fantastic view of the beach Felt welcome
The only problem we had is that the Spa-Bath wasn't working and by the time someone was sent to the room and then fixed we didn't have time to use it so that was a bit disappointing, I thought we would have been compensated as we only stayed for 1 night.
Great location infront of seaside, roof top pool area with a see vew is so lovely. The rooms are too clean and comfortable, exelent quality of restaurants, especially japanese. Definitely the best hotel of this area.
breakfast location staff quality of bedlinnen amenities spa rooftop poolbar
loved the spacious modern decor, the location is great, roof top pool with scenic views are amazing.
the hotel was only open for a month so these are hopefully just teething issues: Service was slow in the beachfront bar Bar food menu should have a wider range of choices and some items suitable for children.
