Great location, walking distance to everything in the city, including bus stop for Alhambra. Spacious room.
The room had no atmosphere, just plain. On that day, no yoghurt and no honey for breakfast...
The position, right in the middle of the old part of the city. Good shower heat and pressure. Room was spacious and quiet and temperature could be adjusted to suit our needs. Welcome bottle of sparking wine and some fruit on arrival for the junior suite. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Limited parking on premises and no way to reserve a place. We were lucky to get the last spot. The actual parking spot was extremely difficult to get in and out of. One of the rooms did not have a bathrobe. The tissues were not replaced after they were finished on the first night. Bar was not open at night. Hotel was nice but not cozy.
charm of the hotel nice rooms and bathrooms super friendly staff at reception nice lobby with character great location
some rooms are very noisy (on the street) heating was hard to control breakfast is expensive and not that great
Loved the location, it was so central at the same time the room was very quiet and we slept undisturbed. Breakfast was fantastic too and the staff at the reception super friendly. It's a family friendly hotel, a cot was provided for our 2 year old.
Navas street, famous tapas street only few steps away. Close to cathedral and 100m from main shopping street. What else can You want.
Nothing, we only stated 2 nights and didn´t have any problem.
Second stay in one month central to our requirements and staff very helpful
No full length mirror in the room specifically for female guests. Coffee tea facillities should be free for guests if not provided in the room
I liked the athmospere in the hotel- like an old colonial house - quiet and yet warm. Location was unbeatable
some rooms can be noisy- you have to ask for a quiet room. T.v was very old style ans so the beds.
Not a fussy hotel. Practical and businesslike. Just the right level of attention to detail to feel luxurious, but not overwhelming. Breakfast staff helpful and lovely.
Street noise - especially the bins and early morning collection and cleaning.
Great central location and attached car park. Lovely old building.
The room was comfortable but the decor was drab and uninspiring
comfort, atmosphere, friendly staff!
the noise in the morning caused by the shifting of chairs in breakfast room. Should be easy to avoid this e.g. by putting some cloth/felt under the chair (legs).
We stayed a couple of nights at the Hesperia and found it well situated for all the interesting areas of Granada. A short walk from the shopping area or the beautiful old quarter. We chose this hotel because it has it's own parking. Which can be a real problem in Granada. The room was basic, comfortable but the window looked out on to a wall.
Requested a room with a view but just looked out on to a wall.
It would have been perfect if there were tea /coffee facilities in the room
Location was perfect, with a large clean and comfortable room
Noisy in the morning with a room facing the front due to loading and unloading deliveries
I stay in Granada three or four times each year for my work, I booked this hotel because the NH Victoria was full. The hotel is very good and for me, the location is excellent but whoever was working in the kitchen on Sat.18th October was a disgrace and not a very good advertisement for the hotel. I had a train to catch at 9.00am and was down for breakfast just after 8.00.The waiter took my order, immediately, there were only 5-6 people in the dining room and I had to leave 25 minutes later without having my breakfast.. The waiter asked twice for me as I needed to get away, but was ignored and embarrassed. I told the receptionist who did not seem to take any notice and was still charged for a full breakfast after only having a coffee and an orange juice. It is not the charge that upset me, it was that both the waiter and myself were ignored. Sort out your kitchen staff in Granada, NH or lose a Gold card customer.
Very nice hotel in almost all respects. Excellent room, helpful staff, very good breakfast, central location.
Located Central City in the midst of tiny streets.Almost impossible to find, despite directions by hotel. Should be no problem by taxi or GPS-
Room on the 2nd floor was great Location was good with restaurants and bars a short walk away
Room on the 1st floor - small and dark and nothing like the pictures on the website Top sheet on bed had a clearly visible large ink stain from a pen - this is the first impression a customer gets - why would anyone think this is acceptable?
This really is the perfect location for exploring Granada - both to the Alhambra and Albaycín districts, and also towards the city centre. Everything is easily walkable from the hotel. Although it is close, just avoid the temptation to eat on Calle Navas - it's a tourist trap and there are much better options nearby.
There was no iron & ironboard in the room. I'm sure I could have asked for one if desperate, but it is the one facility I missed having to hand.
Excellent location for getting about on foot. No need for the car. Good value varied breakfast. Courteous and helpful staff. Clean rooms and a fantastic lobby area. No traffic noise.
Finding the hotel by car. Take the hotel's advice and obtain their directions on how to get to the location before attempting it yourself - even with a Sat Nav.
Location, friendly staff.
Good central position
Noisy inside. Walls of bedroom not well insulated. Quiet from the outside ,overlooking an inner square
Great location, good breakfasts, good value for city centre. Recommend that you download directions provided on hotel website if taking your car.
Loved our stay at the Hesperia Granada. Great hotel in a great location, ideally suited for visiting the beatiful sites and restaurants. Rooms well appointed and staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast good value.
Location Beautiful reception area Large comfortable bedroom Friendly staff
Coffee machine queues at breakfast
Excellent location for tourist attractions. Very quiet and close to lots of restaurants.
Breakfast not very good, not really geared up for more than 5 people at a time. Parking very expensive.
