La Seu d´Urgell is a very nice town in the Catalan Pyrenees.
La Seu d´Urgell is a very nice town in the Catalan Pyrenees. Close to the Andorran ski resorts and national parcs. It has a very nice Olympic wild water park and a very nice quiet and peaceful environment. You can walk, cycle, ski, climb, find organic herbs, or simply be quiet and take it all in.

Old part of the town was lovely and you could walk around it...
Old part of the town was lovely and you could walk around it easily. There was a park that was used for the 1992 Olympics for the canoeing events. There was a lack of restaurants open in the evening especially on Sunday.

The town is quiet but it's a great starting point for visiting the national parks in the Pyrenees and Andorra. As always, the value for money is excellent with comfortable rooms and good bathrooms. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, generous portions and good quality. Staff friendly and attentive. The hotel has open and covered secure parking at a charge which we used, although I think there is free public parking very close by.

The restaurant is very good offering a choice of traditional and local dishes. The reception staff are very helpful and resolved a problem with booking without fuss. The restaurant staff are very pleasant and attentive.
