Mancor de la Val is quite small but has a bakers, general food store and small Spar type ‘supermarket’. It also has a handful of bars and restaurants. Sunday lunch with the locals at Cas Puput not to be missed! All the restaurants – from the café at the swimming pool to that in the Turixant hotel , work on the basis of set meals with just two choices for each course. We enjoyed everything we had – but be aware – Mallorcan cuisine includes a lot of liver and other offal! There was some music going on most evenings, but this is not a big tourist town. This suited us but it’s not for you if you want more ‘action’! Inca is not far away for bigger supermarkets and there is a market there on Thursdays.MargaretUnited Kingdom
