Located right on Toledo’s central Plaza Zocodover Square, the Hotel Domus Plaza Zocodover offers modern, air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and flat-screen TVs. Very helpful recepcionist, she gave us very good recommendations for food, views and visits. Call ahead, the hotel does not have private parking but it partners with some of the closest public parkings and offers lower rates than the other parkings.

Formerly the Spanish guitarist Paco de Lucia's house, Entre Dos Aguas Hotel Boutique is set in the Toledo City Center district, in front of Convento de Santo Domingo. It features air-conditioned... We liked everything about this place. We had the best breakfast ever in this little place. It was made with love and so much care. Staff was amazing, so caring and so warm. We even got an upgrade to our room. Most comfortable and cost place ever.
This former palace of the Empress Eugenia de Montijo offers style and comfort in the heart of Toledo, 656 feet from Toledo Cathedral. Outstanding service from the moment we arrived until we departed. The location is superb--easy walking distance from/to all major sites in the city. Used a cab to get to restaurants at night due to dark, narrow roadways/streets, and to get to the railroad station for the trip back to Madrid. Train service was on-time, with multiple convenient times, and the train and station are spotless. Generally the cost of a taxi was only 5-7 Euro. We stayed in a suite, which, in the states a comparable unit would have cost 3-5X more. My wife used the spa which she said was amazing for a massage and facial, at far lower costs than in the states. The breakfasts were large with a great variety of foods, and they were able to accommodate my gluten allergy without any fuss. We ate one dinner in the hotel--very good variety of special regional foods, at a fair cost. Excellent wine selection! Overall a wonderful place to stay for a long holiday weekend in a fascinating, historic city. We would use them again, and highly recommend it to anyone able to walk without difficulty. The city itself would be difficult to get around if one were handicapped or had knee or hip issues--no reflection on the hotel. It's an ancient city built on a hill with roads hundreds of years old, built centuries before cars were invented!
This charming hotel, whose garden area is surrounded by an original 11th-Century Arab wall, rests a few yards from the escalator that leads to the city center. The Hacienda is amazing and beautiful. I came to celebrate my birthday, and it was fabulous ! Thank you to Natalia at the reception and all your employees.
Hotel Zentral Mayoral, located just in front of the bus terminal, 656 feet from Puerta de Bisagra and a 2-minute walk from the escalators to Zocodover Square, is centrally located in Toledo. The rooms were comfortable and attractive. The staff was friendly and helpful. We loved the view from our room's balcony. We also liked the location of the hotel. It allowed us to easily walk to the Alcazar and explore the area. The hotel parking was full, but we were directed to municipal parking that was easy to get to and three euros less! Based on our experiences I would recommend this hotel.

Toledo is a city where you could spend days just wandering around, finding new things around every corner. My group was only there for two days, much of which was consumed by rehearsals and concerts. It felt like not nearly enough time to even see the city center, let alone explore all the interesting paths and places around the city. If you like to sketch or people-watch, this is a great place to do it! Be sure to check out the rooftop bar in the Carlos V, which has an excellent city view, and if you're interested in authentic ceramics, be sure to visit J Serrano's underground store.
Toledo is a historic city with buildings densely packed onto a hill with narrow, winding and steep cobble stoned streets. Some wonderful local crafts which are unique to Toledo. Toledo Cathedral is stunning inside.
Toledo is an ancient city that dates back to Roman and Moorish days. The cathedral is a remarkable structure mixing Roman and Gothic styles. The small winding streets are full of well-restored ancient buildings. Souvenirs are interesting and inexpensive. Restaurants are plentiful and there is good food to be had. We stayed two nights. One could easily have spent three or four nights.
Very interesting ancient city with a lot of history. Great walking city, altho a bit hilly with cobblestones and somewhat difficult if you have any condition -- lots to see. El Greco Museum ( more than El Grecos) was a real treat on the last morning with beautiful gardens. Cathedral beautiful. 2 nights not enough.
Toledo is spectacular! What a dramatic setting! It definitely helps to know some history. (James Michener's "Iberia" goes into great detail about his experiences there, along with describing everything in the Cathedral. While the book is thick, it can be downloaded to a device.) Knowing about the sieges of the Alcazar during the Spanish Civil War gives some background to that building, where the military museum is appropriately located. Walking the narrow, twisted lanes is a real treat; you never know what you'll see around the next corner. It's a very clean city, with well-maintained buildings, great food, and wonderful art and architecture. If you don't arrive by train, it's worth a trip to the station to see that hundred-year-old building.
Outstanding city to tour- beautiful architecture and buildings. Churches , mosques and synagogues of historical note. Impressive place to visit! Andalucía food abounds- every level of cost- shopping and plenty of souvenir shops ( hard to avoid but somehow fitting)

Location was very central, as it was located in the historic old town. Hostel looked brand new and the design looked modern. Beds were very comfortable and the rooms have their own bathroom. The female dorm room that I was in had newly installed individual reading lights. Roof top common area has a beautiful view of Toledo. There are complementary beverages in the kitchen during breakfast time. Staff was very helpful, one of them gave me an extensive and detailed rundown of what to do in town.

This hotel is an amazing little place with so much history. The owners are incredibly helpful and their love for the history of Toledo and the property really show. Make sure you try out their restaurant right next door and continue with the history going back to the old Islamic empire and literally an archeology site. And the food was good, too. Especially loved the smell of baking croissants to wake up to in the morning!

Comfortable room overlooking a square. Nice view from our room. Downstairs common room with arm our interesting. Great place to explore the streets of Toledo from. I liked that the hotel was in the midst of old Toledo, instead of on the outskirts. We arrived early and they held our bags and told us we could use the downstairs restroom, which was appreciated.

This was a very nice surprise at the tail end of our two week trip. The hotel is absolutely amazing. The view of the city (Toledo) was magnificent. We were on 4th floor and the view of the resort , the pool and grounds added a very perfect image to the city view. The room was very spacious and the bath room was huge. The shower was the best. We had an amazing dinner at the restaurant with 2 bottles of Spanish wine and truly enjoyed our evening and the pool next day, after a long walking tour in Toledo. The short taxi ride to the center of city was just few minutes long and well worthwhile.
