Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and of great size. Breakfast was amazing, but pricey. Pool was heated and great for my 2 year old. Amenities were outstanding.
Location was not great. Breakfast (although amazing) was expensive.
Underground garage entry-exit to small, no A/C??
everything, especially the personel was very warm and helpfull
breakfast didn't include enough range of food.
Nice spa for free. Clean room. Next to metro. Friendly staff. Free toothbrush and cosmetic kit in the bathroom. Great value for the money.
No soap or shampoo in the shower (just foam).
Small sauna & wellness facility was nice when the whole facility was used by up to 10 people, which was so most of the time I was there. Saunas not hot though (around 70-80 Celsius), but pleasant to be in. One very good massage jet in the pool (the first one was not working, but the one next to it was great). Beware that there are no dressing rooms in the facility, best to get there in swinsuit from the room. Beware also of the slippery floor, I fell really bad, but the staff was very helpful to fix my bleeding wound. This small sauna & wellness, and the location, were the reasons for me to chose this hotel, and I would definitely go there again.
The only little complaint concerns the enforcement to sit at the particular table during the breakfast by the staff. It was not very pleasant for us strangers to sit so close next to each other, looking at the empty parts of the room where we could have more privacy. But I understand that the staff might need to keep tables for 4 people for the larger groups, etc. But they could be less strict about this in case that the hotel is not so much fully booked.
Ambiente, furniture. Mix a of styles. Bad taste.
The management is excellent The warm environment
My wife and i were in Barcelona to watch a concert. The hoel was around the corner from the venue. The hotel and the staff were cheerful and helpful. I will stay here again.
The ONLY minus point about the hotel for me was the fact you have to pay for the safe key in your room. In a hotel as good as this i would expect a digital safe. But this said, i still like the hotel.
Pool Room Bar Staff
Distance from centre Noise outside however it was Haloween
Staff weren't very friendly - we weren't given towels for the sauna and pool as promised, so we had to walk back to our room dripping wet. We were two minutes late for breakfast and the man was really rude and wouldn't accommodate us.
There was a spa and it was a nice 30min walk to la rambla
I had mould on my burger and it was undercooked, the translation of food was far from what it actually was for example, veal escalope with cheese was actually a chicken wok
My room was overly hot and I was not able to condition it to be colder. Everything else was very pleasant.
Perfectly friendly staff, good English, bar staff were particularly good
Air con was completely ineffectual There for 6 nights for work and no once asked how things were or if I needed anything - fine if approached/asked but otherwise staff mostly lacking a service mentality But the most off-putting aspect was the sewer stench that managed to reach the 9th floor, seemingly coming up through the plumbing as the cleaners cunningly left all plugs in holes after cleaning - this did something to staunch the smell but not enough - how do you get the stink of sewage strong enough to wake you up on the 9th floor.
We choose the hotel as it had a pool, which was lovely
The hotel is in a bad location. As we had a baby with us, we were not comfortable walking in the neighbourhood and many of the Metro stations are not pram friendly so we ended up getting a taxi everywhere. Taxi from the hotel to the city was approx €10 each way.
The staff were very friendly, the room was more than adequate, the bed was comfortable and the bar was available when needed.
The hotel is in quite a run down area away from the main town. However the biggest issue with this hotel was the piped music that eerily switches on in the wee small hours. I woke up to the sound of "wild horses" by the stones at 3.30 am and the music moved onto horrific lift jazz. At first it thought it was a nearby bar but closer examination revealed the music was everywhere. Oddly it was switched off at 5am??? Great hotel if you are profoundly deaf otherwise take your earplugs!
king size bed, close metro station, good breakfast, clean room
noisy street, not enough restaurant in the neighborhood, not a nice district
I really liked the Room decor and the Hotel ambiance. Staff at breakfast very hardworking and polite and helpful staff at reception. Free welcome drinks in room and good variety of foods at breakfast. Located out of the city centre but close to underground station Bogota. We bought a card valid for 10 train journeys from the machine at the entrance of the underground and this worked out cheaper for us than a 3 day pass.
Bathroom was disappointing for a 4 star hotel in that the soap was in a dispenser near the shower head and also the quality of the towels given. We expected better toiletries and towels. There was no coffee making facilities in the room and the coffee for breakfast was not of a good quality.
Easy access to underground transport and about 15 minutes walk to beaches and restaurants at the marina. Ideal for a short, comfotable break if on a budget.
Neighbourhood a little run down but not threatening.
Huge room and huge terrace with a view of Barcelona!
Brekfast is a bit too expensive...
Breakfast was good
Room was shabby overall and needed redecorating. Side of bath was corroded and looked disgusting. Not what one would expect from a 4 star rated property.
Close to the centre and Metro.
Our room was in the middle of the building, on the 4th floor, overlooking the pool. It was very dark all the time in the room, the lighting was very weak, giving very depressive sense. The pool smelled chemicals and the spa did not work. Everything was wet in the pool area.
-friendly staff - breakfast
only 2 elevators in the building - long waiting times
Decoration Pool+fitness Comfortable bed and pillow
Location is a bit far but ok.
Staff in the restaurant and bar very friendly and profesional.rooms are nice, big.
Staff in reception not so profesional .i would expect better service for 4stars hotel.
