Offering spectacular views of Ronda’s gorge and Puente Nuevo Bridge, this Parador is in Ronda’s former Town Hall. Free Wi-Fi and a seasonal pool feature in this impressive hotel.
Score from 758 reviews Very good
Located 600 metres from the famous Ronda’s Bullring, this modern hotel is located in the town centre. Hotel Sevilla has a traditional Andalusian restaurant and guest rooms with air conditioning.
Score from 654 reviews Very good
Right on the edge of Ronda’s famous gorge, this 17th-century palace offers fantastic views of the Guadalevín River. It has an outdoor pool, Turkish bath and rooms with free Wi-Fi.
Score from 480 reviews Excellent
The hotel is in the center of Ronda, with panoramic views of El Tajo gorge and just around the corner from the Plaza de Toros famed as the birthplace of bullfighting.
Score from 466 reviews Very good
The staff service is really poor, when we arrived, the lady at the reception greeted us and then left us there for 10 mins without saying anything, the staff at the breakfast buffet is very aggressive. The hotel service level is much lower than a four star hotel standard.
Loved the reception, quiet and elegant. Room is/was perfectly situated and very comfortable. Hotel 5 minute walk from plaza de Toros and great restaurants. Breakfast in hotel was wonderful also with a view...
This visit we did not have time to "spa"
The hotel had stunning views, great location with a character building in surrounding grounds. It had a terrace bar which was a great place to sit and relax. The rooms were comfortable with a very modern design.
The toilet in our room could have been a little more private, instead it was like a closet with a glass door.
The view was as promised - great. Made more dramatic when we realised that the hotel (along with the rest of the town) is perched at the top of a very high cliff. A very nicely furnished and styled room - enjoyed our stay.
It's a shame that so many hotels these days seem to regard two single beds pushed together as a 'double bed' - when clearly it is not - made more obvious when they are both made up as singles, and then pushed together..! Don't the people who run these places get on with their spouses...? Don't pay EUR15/day for parking, especially out of season - there's no shortage on-street, right outside.
Fabulous views. Great deck for evening drinks.
The hotel needs an exterior deck for the restaurant at night. The restaurant will not serve you at the exterior deck that is used for afternoon drinks
Liked Everything. Did not eat at restaurant, because there were many wonderful places to eat, but we loved their outdoor patio and bar area, excellent service, beautiful view, and wanna go back very soon. The Frontera was wonderful in all respects, and Ronda, as beautiful as I dreamed it would be. Will treasure wonderful memories. Could not have chosen a more perfect place to stay.
Not unhappy about anything!
Our Junior suite was spacious with a fantastic view of the valley and the mountains. Staff were very friendly.
Expensive breakfast. Fried eggs were cold and rubbery.
No complaints about the hotel, but no great remembrances (except for view) Views from hotel & throughout Ronda were spectacular. Found a great bar/restaurant for dinner with local flare.
Hotel was good but value for money was not. Prices out of line for being out of season. Ronda "old town" is a miss. They haven't figured this out.
Beautiful modern decor, very clean, comfortable and central location. The room had amenities of a standard 5* and the views from the balcony were spectacular. I will definitely be staying here again!
The only thing i can point out is that there was a fault whereby water started seeping through the light in the shower room. This was sorted very soon though... And we were upgraded to a junior suite!!
Very nice and friendly staff. Great, delicious breakfast. Large and beautifull room. A location l can truly recommend.
Only one thing: To leave that place.
Views from bedrooms and gardens
Car parking charges
Location with great views, very nice renovated rooms. Would recommend and come back. Ronda is a must as part of a visit to south of Spain and we found the hotel as ideal for the visit and a great location to tour other white villages.
The Internet connection is frustrating The paid parking could run out (as happened to us)- hotel took care to our satisfaction but could cause inconvenience. Our room views were blocked by trees try for a higher floor for better views (it is worth it)
Lovely rooms, attentive and helpful staff. We both enjoyed the hotel which made our stay even more enjoyable in Ronda.
Size of the room we had, nice and spacious. Excellent bed.The view from the lovely terrace. The breakfast. We didn't have dinner in the Hotel, so can't comment on that. Location of the Hotel was nice and quiet, yet walking distance (10 min) to town centre.
nothing we didn't like
The views Large comfortable room Staff friendly and helpful
Bathroom layout rather odd!
When we got their our room was not ready even though we had mentioned the time we would be arriving. They asked us to wait 40 mins, so we relaxed and admired the view. When we returned they told us they upgraded us to a junior suite for the trouble :-) Very plesant and friendly staff. The breakfast had many options and I had a taste of it all hehe. We didn't have time to try the spa unfortunately.
The views are amazing. The massages are very good. Located in middle of Ronda, but you feel being in the countryside, very relaxed. Child friendly with playground and fenced swimingpool. Very good value for money, although we dont like the heated rooms during the night. Very clean!
The Spa is very expensive for the facilities they have (only a small turkish steamroom. They shpould provide 1 hour for free with every stay / night. `As Now I paid 20 Euros for 1 hour. Its renovated recently, with some strange spots for simple things like a toiletpaper-holder below the toilette. Wifi is not very strong and userfriendly, but for free, with printing facilities.
The location and garden are both stunning. The food was excellent. The staff were friendly and efficient.
Bedroom: design odd with bathroom and WC virtually inside bedroom giving no privacy. Fixtures and fittings modern but very poor quality (basin tap loose on base and stiff to operate). Public rooms: Chlorine smell from spa permeated the bar and most of the ground floor.
Loved the view! Big, roomy balcony with a breathtaking view of the hills. Beds were super comfortable, and we appreciated all the little amenities such as the stocked mini-bar, chocolates, etc. Used the spa one day and it was lovely!
We had a leaky faucet (sink is in the bedroom). When we would come back to the room, water was all over the floor and we had to clean it up. Happened about 3x before they fixed it.
Handy for both railway station and city centre. Beautiful modern room with balcony and wonderful view over valley. Good spa, terrace snacks and formal restaurant. Have stayed before and will stay again.
Car parking charges.
view from hotel near to center of the town, bus and train stations
bathroom NOT separated from the room! semi-transparent doors in the bathroom
Wi-Fi never worked. Bathroom was in the bedroom and there was a smell of the bathroom and some cigarette smoke coming from different rooms right by our bed.
100% worth upgrading to terrace with view. We upgraded at last minute and have honestly never had a view like it from a hotel. Great for sitting and watching the sunset from. The hotel is a short (5-10 min depending on pace) walk out from the other popular hotels but entirely worth it for the extra tranquility, space and views. Room was delightful, spacious and met all our needs. Staff really helpful. Wifi really good throughout hotel. Honestly the bathrooms are not a big deal. Don't know what all the fuss is about!
Food in restaurant was average and atmosphere somewhat lacking but may have been because it's off season. Massive contrast to the lunch on terrace option we didn't go for and wish we had. Felt a bit ripped off to pay the same parking rate as the public for the hotel's parking at 15 euro / day.
Pros: The view from the terrace attached to our room was stellar, including the sunset and sunrise. The food at the bar and restaurant was good. Having as much fresh squeezed orange juice as you want is a rare treat, and came with the buffet breakfast. The room was large and clean, with a comfortable bed and a shower with lots of water pressure.
Cons: Too far to walk in to town. Food was a little on the expensive side, but given the quality and the setting, it was worth it.
The views from our room were spectacular. Beautiful dining room. Staff and service excellent. Massage & spa an added bonus. Excellent value.
We did not find out till the second night that the cooling system had been turned off for the season. No tea or coffee making facilities in room.
