Very clean and big room for a couple. The owner was very nice and accommodated us when we arrived at night. It's located in a residential area and you have your privacy from the owners house as it's in the same area. There are basic equipment to heat food and make tea or coffee, also breakfast (bread, jam, milk etc) provided. Walking distance to restaurants. It's also cheap and good value comparing it to other accommodation options in Tenerife

The old part of Candelaria, the square with the statues of the Guanches are wonderful. In the new part - Punta Larga there are many restaurants and a wonderful patisserie. And it's all on the Avenida Maritima, drinking your beer and watching the waves.....

Candelaria is a lovely European town, not touristy like the area on the south/west of Tenerife. It was lovely for a couple of days exploring - the basilica is impressive and beautiful, there are plenty of cafes and nice places to eat along the seafront, and it has easy and quick bus connections to Santa Cruz. The black beaches are beautiful but perhaps the sea is a bit rough for swimming here.

I came here to visit friends. The place is well connected with the rest of the island and it is very close to the main city (Santa Cruz) and close enough to amenities in the south of the island. Candelaria has some great restaurants such as Taberna Giron for fine food, Jimmy Food for good burgers and local craft beers from the Canary Island as well as many other good decent restaurants on the beach promenade. Candelaria is a lovely town on the northeast side of the island. It is not touristy and the locals are very nice and welcoming. There are beautiful beach areas with a promenade along the beachfront. It is close to Santa Cruz (within 20km) and a 30 minute drive from the airport. Be prepared to exercise your Spanish as English is not common at all. Not a lot of golf in the area; you'll have to head south for a round. We really want to return here on our next trip.

Candelaria had everything we needed for our vacation. It is not too busy and not too overrun by tourists (most of the tourists we met were Spanish). Public transportation to and from the town is very good.JesperDenmark

Although it was quite a windy and chilly January, it is a great place for a walk in the evening. Candelaria is larger than I expected with plenty of restaurants, bars, and supermarkets with delis. Our favourite was Cosechas Gastrobar. Santa Cruz can be reached in 20 minutes by bus and the stop is only a 3 minutes from the apartment. My wife recommends the nearby Rhapsody Gym, that offer short term access. Excellent Wifi.StephenIreland

The entire accommodation exudes cleanliness and comfort, modern electricity and plumbing, well-locked doors and windows with fly screens, etc. On arrival, you are treated to a personal welcome by the owners, fresh fruit and much more.

The closest supermarket "HiperDino" is less than a five minute walk away. In Candelaria are a lot of good cafes, bars and restaurants. The host Mercedes is very friendly and helpful. We loved our stay and can absolutely recommend staying in this apartment. :-)JJanineGermany

It has a kitchenette, a small balcony, a terrace in front of the main door and a private parking space inside the garage. The apartment is situated near the beach of Candelaria, which we found really nice, near supermarkets and great restaurants. The check-in /check out went smooth via Booking chat.
