The rooms really need to be redecorated. The bathroom in particular has a very depressing feel to it, the lighting is terrible!
The service for food took ages - we waited at least 45 minutes twice for a simple order to arrive.
The rooms are very damp, likely due to being so close to the sea, but the carpet was so damp you could feel it and the mirror misted up as soon as the air con was off.
As an Ihg rewards member I got free wifi and a card and fruit basket which was nice.
The breakfast was great and the bed comfy.
Grand Pacific Hotel next door is excellent for dinner (much more expensive to stay there).
It has a washer and dryer for guests to use.
Nice big fridge to fill with whatever you want.
It's a very easy place to walk to anywhere in the main high street, although I would say only go to Suva if you need to - the people are lovely but there's no reason to be here when you could explore other beautiful areas of Fiji.
The best restaurant was the Japanese near by, gorgeous.
