Score from 338 reviews Wonderful
room is very small. very expensive.
The cleanliness of the room, the bathroom is spacious in comparison to the room. The beds are comfortable The staff were helpful
Quiet corner although very close to good restaurants and shops.
Great Location Concierge, William, was terrific Clean, well equiped room Lots of cafes & bars nearby
Wifi dipped in and out a few times our comfort room was 20 euros per night more than our friends' room but all it had in addition was a tiny balcony, so stick to the standard room I guess
Great location with easy access to several metro stations, or a pleasant 20 odd minute walk up to the river seine. Small rooms, as expected in most European hotels, but very comfortable bed, clean and well appointed bathroom, and our room had a lovely little balcony. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Excellent location with two metro stations located within a minutes walk of the hotel, lots of cafes and shops nearby.
Had to request supplies from reception a number of times as tbe room staff failed to restock correctly.
Located in the san germain neighborhood
Very very small rooms and corridor
The property was nice - it had French charm, being a converted old house but it was very small. The elevator was barely big enough for two of us, plus one case plus an infant and the stairs are quite steep if you are on an upper floor. The room we had was TINY - only just big enough for a double bed, an amoire and a small desk. We also had to squash a cot in, meaning one of us couldn't get in to their side of the bed. The bathroom however was large (for Parisian standards) clean and nicely renovated however the shower/tub was very hard to get in and out of - especially for a pregnant woman. I wouldn't recommend it for elderly or infirm guests. The staff were pleasant, the location good (50m from a metro stop, over 5 good restaurants within a stones throw and a short stroll along a shop lined boulevard to the Montparnasse tower and Galleries Lafayette).
Wifi was patchy - kept dropping in and out which was frustrating. There is no shelving - only an old closet with hanging space. The room was incredibly tiny - it was hard to move around it was so tight. I would NOT recommend this room for a family - only a single person or couple. The beds are two single ensembles pushed together so also wouldn't recommend for honeymooners!!
We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in the month of July 2014 and had a very wonderful experience. We were amazed by how courteous and helpful the staff was (as staff at French hotels are known to be a bit snooty). They helped us with directions and planning out of small excursions in and around the city, also giving us valuable tips in the process. They were even willing to support requests late into the night - wine glasses @2am :) The Hotel is very well located, being right across the street from a bus stop and the St. Placide metro station. Additionally the Renne metro station is just a 2 minute walk away. The hotel was super clean and comfortable. The rooms although small were not too cramped as compared to Paris standards. The bath was beautiful and well lit. The AC worked spot on and the room was well ventilated. All-in-all a very fulfilling and memorable experience, would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Paris.
Perfect place to end our European holiday. Location is superb and rooms were refreshingly clean compared to some of our accommodation in previous places.
Good location close to metro
Unbelievably small room. But I guess that is standard for Paris. My room was on the top floor facing the back. Their concept of a coutyard facing room is one that looks into the airshaft! But I guess that is standard for Paris for this price. So I would try to get a street facing room. The wifi kept breaking down when i called the desk, the guy told me that he couldn't access the internet either. So thats the attitude. Maybe it wasn't his attitude but rather he was too embarrassed to talk in English to explain when it would be fixed? Don't know.
Very good location
We were at the front of the building so it quite noisy
The location. The attitude of the staff was friendly and helpful. General cleanliness of the room.
nothing comes to mind.
The hotel has a nice comfortable feel, particularly the bar. The staff were very helpful and efficient - the receptionist found us a bus to get out of Paris during the rail strike. The kettle with coffee and tea supplied is always useful. Location is great for metro connections.
The room was very small but this is typical in Paris.
Staff was friendly and very helpful. I left my memory card and card reader in the room and by the time I got home from Europe they posted these items to me. The room was lovely and very clean. Location was excellent, right on top of the Metro station and bus stops at the door. Great hotel I would go back again!
Room was clean and bed was clean and firm. Bathroom was clean and shower was decent.
Hotel was a dump and not worth the over $400 per night it cost to stay there. Crummy ancient brown carpet throughout and teensy rooms. If I could have moved elsewhere without losing money I would have. The A/C was leaking in the corridor outside our room on the 5th floor and there was a definite musty smell. I would never recommend this hotel or stay there again.
Receptionist wasn't friendly
Wonderful hotel. Comfortable room, clean, great location. Recommended!
location is great, hotel staff is friendly, rooms are very clean.
the wifi didn't work during 2 days.
I like the location
The level of cleaning poor
The location is good as it is close to shops and restaurants. The underground stations are also very near and the staff is excellent, always ready to assist. It is also value for money compared to other hotels in Paris. Would not hesitate to recommend anyone.
Pleasant helpful staff and cosy room with comfortable beds
Door handle to bathroom kept falling off.
Excellent location in St Germaine, close to shopping and good restaurants with three metro stops very close. Excellent attentive staff Rooms are small but that's the norm in Paris, the lift is just big enough for two people and a bag each
We found the wi-fi to be hit and miss
Very friendly staff and fantastic location
Very friendly staff the bed linen
Sound proofness nil
