Hotel and staff
Breakfast was disappointing
A beautiful hotel, great staff, amazing location, beats CDG airports hotels on all fronts. Quiet, nicely decorated and very comfortable rooms.
Nothing to dislike, perfect stay.
Impressive recently built hotel in old style very close to the Chateau with everything to be expected from a luxury hotel. Comfortable, well appointed bedrooms. Small bar area but excellent Martinis.
Arriving at 8pm on January 1, after a long drive from the Alps, we were told there was no further availability in the (breakfast) restaurant for dinner - the main restaurant being closed. We were obliged to have room service, which was not what we expected.
Nice facilities, good restaurant... Friendly stuff.
Wifi was too slow...
Well-situated, clean and new
Super high prices for that kind of service. The reception is making mistakes and forces the clients to pay for some unknown extras. Mandatory check-out at 11a.m. on sunday is too early for a 5 stars. The modern building which looks obviously fake. The interior looks fake too.
We enjoyed our total experience.
The wifi was not up to the standard of some other hotels we have stayed at.
We, unfortunately, only got to stay one night at this hotel. Long enough though to experience the top notch staff and wonderful room. Loved Chantilly - we will be back to do more exploring and will stay at the Auberge.
Drinks and food are expensive. Wish the gift shop had more to offer.
Love the people Love the area Nice and sophisticated SPA bar is just great
Was not possible to have late check out
What a loverly hotel , great attentive staff and beautiful surroundings
The breakfast was good but not great compared to everything else, it was too "chain" hotel and the room lacked the style of the rest of the hotel , the staff like all the staff where fantastic
Lovely atmosphere and the food in open restaurant was excellent
For a premium hotel our rooms were not made up until 2.30pm,we had left at 8am. No one told us until I tried to book that the main restaurant was closed for August maybe this is booking.coms error!
- Elegantly decorated and very comfortable bedrooms - The restaurant is very good - Kind and helpful staff
- Wifi and TV seriously malfunctioning until we were changed to a new bedroom - Awaiting time for the staff (at the restaurant, take over your car from the parking, etc) used to be too long: I think the problem is not related to the reactivity or commitment of the staff but they seem undersized to server promptly all the customers - The value for money for the breakfast is cleary not met ( nothing more than what can be found in any good brunch), same for the cocktails that are globally "so so" - in a nutshell "devil is in the details", globally it is a very nice place but more effort needs to be done to really be considered as a 5 stars
Location, the garden view, the cleanliness and the facility
The staff need to be taught more about dealing professionally with the guests especially the respsionest and some of the room service people, they knocked the door and straight open the door with their access cards ignoring the privacy of you and whoever with you, it was annoying. It happened twice with me and I wasn't completely dressed!! It can happen anytime maybe during your private time with a wife!!
The Staff service were Magnificent in most areas, always happy to help, suggesting, and resolving any issues , Its only 25 minutes from Paris by train, so for us ideal, The room size and cleanliness of the room was exquisite well proportioned for a 5 star!
I personally expected more from the 'Jardin d'Hiver' restaurant! Didn't like my Fillet stake and vegetables!, and very little desert options! so only Dine there on my first night!
Location and food. I would stay here again.
Organised two rooms to be on the courtyard side of the hotel, rather than road, and got only one room on courtyard side. Two rooms had been requested and confirmed. They did attempt to upgrade me to a nicer room overlooking gardens but with a 50 Euro surcharge.
Very smart hotel in an excellent location in Chantilly. Next door to the Museum of the Horse and the Park and gardens. Pretty rooms, well furnished and with kettle, fridge, hairdryer, safe etc. Restaurant very good.
I didn't like being told I'd been given an upgraded room and then asked to pay 50 euros more. Not only did it delay check in when I refused but it was not a good welcome. A bottle of complimentary water would have been a nice touch and is standard in many hotels particularly in this price range.
- The nice view towards the garden; - The staff ; - The high level of services
- too much car traffic in the neighbour
one of the best places we have ever stayed;location;exemplary staff;staff very helpful with local information;wonderful breakfast
expensive to park car; breakfast too expensive; super high premium for exchanging currency,no where close to exchange rate for guests.
Staff great, nice spa area, brilliant restaurant, location as described in the domain, close to everything. Pricey, but worth it.
hard to find something, probably the speed of Wifi, but no need for much Internet with such surroundings
Perfect location for visiting the Chateau de Chantilly and horse stables. Great bar, ample choice of cocktails and other alcoholic drinks, nice snacks. Comfortable and clean room, great shower. Friendly personel all around.
The breakfast is very good, though somewhat expensive. The deserts in the Jardin d'Hiver could have some more originality, we doubt if they were home-made. Overall however a great place to stay.
Very welcoming and helpful staff.
The star restaurant prices were astronomic so we ate out at a local ( walking distance ) restaurant . To be fair we should test out the in house, less expensive, brasserie restaurant next time.
Location, decoration, comfort, design, cleanliness, TV channels.
The room service food was below expectation (French onion soup was tasteless and not warm, grilled fish was tasteless). Breakfast below expectations, considering its price (only one type of cheese, no beans, no mushrooms)
This hotel is absolutely beautiful, the staff are wonderful, the facilities were excellent. The parking is 12 euros per night, it is a valet service. Breakfast is 32 euros per person, but it was delicious and fresh with table service. It is well located in the middle of Chantilly. There are plenty of restaurants nearby.
