    Style, location, friendliness of staff.

    Nothing... the room could have been a little bigger and decorated/furnished closer to the style of the public rooms, but these are not small points.

    Very historical architecture but very small of the front gate and rooms, the staff is really helpful, everyday would be send two chocolates, that is cozy

    The hotel gives a Parisian feeling of luxury home and the staff is very welcoming.

    There is a possibility to improve the bar/ salon area by giving it more soul and possibly some simple cold meals.

    Fantastic location, extremely pleasant and efficient staff, breakfast selection excellent, including for people on vegan diet. Bed, linen, towels of top quality. Jazz in the bar on weekends.The entire 17th century building is well kept and tastefully decorated.

    1.The staff behind and desk and in the lobby!!!! 2.The friendliness and outgoingness of the staff. Never did a day go by without Bon Jour and huge smiles! 3.The location - close to all the tourist attractions.

    Service was fantastic. Decor and fittings looked great.

    Very expensive considering comparisons to other central 4 star hotels in other cities. This is more an issue with Paris than the hotel itself though.

    The location was good for site seeing and shopping

    The concierge staff was horrible, they would not even suggest a restaurant for breakfast or an area for shopping. They said my room was "upgraded" but it was small than advertised, long and skinny, not very useful. The elevator jolted every time to went up, very disconcerting. The cost is not inexpensive, and I expected more from the facilities and staff. The newer rooms lack any charm, the decorating is depressing.

    The location is terrific - close to the Seine and near to many of the major attractions, including Notre Dame, St Chappelle, Louvre, Muse d'Orsay. The public rooms are elegant and peaceful. The courtyard is a lovely place to have breakfast. Our room had been recently re-furbished and was stylish and comfortable. Breakfast was expensive but delicious. The recommendation of the restaurant around the corner for dinner was excellent.

    I was travelling with my daughter and we had asked for a twin bedded room but on arrival found we had been given a double bed. The staff quickly rectified the problem but it was an unfortunate first impression, especially as we were tired and hot after a long journey from London.

    The hotel was wonderful. .but what made it better was Jean the concierge. .went out of his way for a great anniversary dinner. His attention to detail would bring us back.

    Overall a great experience. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Quartier Latin, 5-10 mins walk to Notre Dame. Charming building, charming street, lively but quiet at night. The staff was very friendly except for 1 incident (see below) which could have been a 1-time fluke. The room had everything we needed. We didn't particularly like the food at the hotel, but the concierge gave us excellent recommendations for eating out (try the restaurant "Chez Fernand" right around the corner -- delicious food and fast service).

    The breakfast is 25 euros and not worth it (not much choice, eggs and croissants were cold -- what a pity!). At one point the wifi in the whole building stopped working, it was a critical moment for us (as we were trying to coordinate with friends who had no phone, only email)... And the staff at the reception were rather rude when we asked them for solutions. Granted, they were overwhelmed and did not know themselves what was going on, but they could have at least answered politely instead of snapping smth like "I have no idea why it's not working!" and leaving us to deal with the problem that wasn't our fault.

    Everything about this hotel is great, especially the staff. They are so nice and helpful. The room is better than some 5 star hotels. Highly recommend it.
