Location was great, and the guy on reception was great. They stored our bikes in a secure space for us, and gave us bottles of cold water when we arrived hot and tired at the end of a long day! Plus recommendations with regards where to explore to find food. Beds were comfy.

We were just passing by and were curious about the town as we had read some good reviews. The area around the cathedral is nice with lovely views of the surrounding countryside but a part from that there was nothing else that caught our attention. We were surprised by the presence of people just wandering around (drunk or else) and this is more noticeable in a small town like Beziers. Unfortunately it did not meet our expectations.

We enjoyed our one night stay in Beziers .
We enjoyed our one night stay in Beziers . It’s really lovely around the cathedral next to the hotel where we stayed with great views over the area and beyond . Eating out is a pleasure as there are many restaurants to choose from . If busy it’s best to book . We enjoyed walking around the town looking at the Trompe L’oiel on the walls . There is a trail to follow but we didn’t have time . We would have liked to have visited the canal locks nearby too . Unless there are events on , it’s not the most exciting town but we really enjoyed it and if visiting again would stay 3-6 nights using the town as a base to explore other areas /towns nearby .

The centre of town was just a few minutes walk away, through a noisy underpass. Beziers was charming, the people friendly and the food good. Railway and bus connections were easy. The central boulevard and Plateau des Poets ideal for a pleasant stroll. Canal du Midi a bonus!

Later in the evenings there were a lot of immigrants in the main square. We ate at one of the restaurants recommended by our host. We visited the 9 locks which was very interesting, with a restaurant on site.

Béziers is a nice middle-sized town with a long historic past which has left some very interesting monuments.
There are a number of excellent restaurants which offer a large choice of food.
I recommend visiting the place in spring or in summer .

Enjoyed visiting the Cathedral and the old town.
Enjoyed visiting the Cathedral and the old town. Also visited Les 9 Ecluses de Fonseranes and Tunnel du Malpas (Canal du Midi), and Oppidum d'Enserune (a 2,500 year old celtic settlement). Also drove to the nearby coastal towns but were disappointed that there was not more activity for the time of year (early/mid September).
Loved the rooftop bar, our little terrace and the hotel’s artwork. We also loved the location, with a beautiful fountain and enormous public art installation of flowers very close by. The hotel is part of a very popular outdoor cafe, which meant a lot of noise just outside our window. The insulation was excellent, though - It got very quiet when we closed the French door.
What can I say about this hotel? I absolutely loved everything about it! Despite its past as a prison, they've maintained the place very well, and I slept comfortably. The location is excellent, and the cleanliness is impeccable. Additionally, the staff is incredibly helpful. The breakfast was fantastic, the best of my trip! I highly recommend it!
Very good hotel with KING size, comfortable bed and good breakfast. Also very serviceable staff! BUT: please change the web adress!! The hotel looks like it is situated on 10, rue Théophile Gautier in Béziers - which it is NOT! Please State the correct postal number on the net - it would have saved us about an hour of driving around searching....
The property is in one of the best locations you could hope for in Beziers. It is absolutely opposite Les Halles - the covered market which is currently being renovated - but this did not impact our stay. It was easy walking distance to everything and the apartment is immaculate. It is beautifully decorated and everything was spotless.
The host was charming and attentive to our requirements. The apartment was stunning, and catered to every possible need (even little disposable slippers on the bed). The bed was the first we have slept in properly made with a top sheet, perfect attention to detail. Truly the luxury treat we needed on a long trip around France.
Great hotel, recently refurbished with nice reception area and courtyard. Room was nice but a bit small, but then most town hotel rooms in France are on the small side. Lots of restaurants nearby and a lovely tree lined boulevard is being completed in front of the hotel which when complete will be lovely for walks.
Everything is amazing. Fun and gorgeous interior design. Close to city. La Villa Guy makes the whole trip. We spent an entire day just sitting by the pool. The staff are so accommodating and make it feel like a family. Didn’t want to leave.
Location was perfect. Walking distance to Centre Ville, restaurants, shops, boulangerie, train station, tourist office, park / botanic gardens etc. We got the bus from airport to Beziers and we’re able to walk to our apartment.
It is the right hotel for travellers, if you need a stop without problem of parking and strategic position, this is the best option. A very confortable swimming pool and restaurant is very nice.
Top, perfect to visit Beziers. Photos just seem less basic as it is. But down the road, it is immaculate, perfectly located, top of top. Thank you. I do suggest everyone to enjoy it there.
Nice, pleasant boutique hotel. Friendly staff. Good sized room. Clean. Excellent continental breakfast that you could have indoors or outside on a nice terrace,
cute little hotel right in the heart of Beziers old town. very convenient in terms of location. the room was cozy and warm. good utilization of all the space.
The hotel is in an amazing location with a great view, it is unique and quirky yet stylish and comfortable.
