Staff was lovely to us Clean rooms Good location Nice breakfast
Lots of homeless people outside ( not the hotels fault) No facilities in the room ( no kettle or iron) which was hard considering we traveled with a baby(We were not allowed to use fridge to keep baby milk )
Great location, ten minutes on foot to Sacre Coure and the artist quarters
Long queues at reception at all times cause of the sheer size of the hotel
GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY & FOR FAMILY TRAVELLERS 3 BEDS ARE AVAILABLE IN THE ROOM SO MAY BE VERY COMFORTABLE FOR FAMILY BUT NOT IN CAR AS PARKING IS VERY COSTLY SHOWER IN THE ROOM IS GOOD & IN LINE WITH IBIS STANDARD
THE LUGGAGE ROOM IF YOU KEEP YOUR LUGGAGE IS NOT PROPERLY NUMBERED & ACKNOWLEDGED I WAS AFRAID THAT SOMEBODY MAY CLAIM BY BAGGAGE BUT NOTHING OF THAT SORT HAPPENED
Rooms were value for money and clean
Felt like you might be robbed outside any time
Little noisy but its ok.
Considering the amount you pay, the hotel itself is great. Very clean and has everything you need for a base whilst exploring the city.
The location was poor - could not walk anywhere so had to rely on public transport. Much better to pay more for a hotel which is more central rather than spend the extra money on taxis etc. Most of the reception staff were helpful, but we found one lady to be very rude and unhelpful.
Not feeling so safe outside the hotel No kitchen. Its hard to get a hot water Long queue to check in
Expensive but safe underground parking for cars.
The hotel staff are diabolical. Abrupt and unhelpful. Breakfast standard to be expected but acceptable. Do not venture out after dark!
Hotel is not far from metro. Our room was not big but comfortable. Around the corner of the hotel there is a supermarket. I liked everything.
The room was ok I would say value for money, once they get your room request correct
The hotel staff are rude, not helpful at all. We were told we could check in at 12.00, we arrived at 12.20 they checked us in but when we got to the room there was no bed for my son to sleep on, I went back down and was told to stand and wait cos no rooms were ready. After traveling for 24hrs that's the last thing you want to do! You'd probably accept it a little better if they weren't so rude and abrupt.
The hotel is not too far from the underground, there are many inexpensive shops nearby. The hotel staff is very kind.
I do confirm all the negative comments made for this hotel. Additionally, the sound insulation is very bad as we couldn't sleep and had to listen the sounds of a "woman" all night during her sex activity !!
I'm French, I used to live in Paris And I know the city well. I'm writing in English because I consider that tourists have the right know that a hôtel that calls itself "Ibis Porte de Montmartre" is actually located at the métro station "Porte de Saint-Ouen" - within 10mn of walk through streets that are the limit of Seine-Saint-Denis, one of the most dangerous area of France. Once we got into the hotel (it was 11pm) we were greated by a scary security guard that told us that the receptist was somewhere in the floors And Will be coming back soon. This being said, he turned on his loud music And ignored us. Behind us at the corner of the hall, 3 weird looking guys on the sofa... I'm not against the location itself - but I can t bélieve the hôtel locates itself at "porte de Montmartre", while it is actually located at" Porte de Saint-Ouen" which is at least 30mn walk from the touristic area! Such intentional mistleading is a shame from a well known brand and contributes to the already poor reputation of the average hotels of Paris.
small room , no chairs , no space for our baggage
Gently staff. Specially thanks to Melanie at reception. She was very kind & helpfull ..
no chairs to sit. not a place to put the suitcases.
the hotel is still in zone one 5-8 minutes from the metro, so you can get to downtown without a hassle, everything was clean, check in was fast, the bed was very comfy
I cannot really mention anything
The bed, the breakfast
Very good price due to a booking offer. The room was comfortable, clean and big enough. Change of sheets and towels every day.
Everything Robes a nice touch, The Hotel Restaurant was very good too.
The sign outside could be more visible we had trouble finding the Hotel. The Elevator doors were very quick to close.
Hotel is a bad location
clean, rooms with code-locks (no problems with lost keys or cards)
far from metro station, small rooms with bunk beds (and without any chair or desk), small toilet (toilet and shower are separated, washbasin is in the room, not in the bathroom), poor breakfast, lots of people (groups) in the breakfast room (however, there's a special zone for individual guests), queues at the reception desk, reception staff had some problems with issuing correct invoice
Wasn't directly in the centre so bit out of all the madness and metro was cheap to ride
Heater didn't work in the room, was a little cold. And had to be a little wary when out as its abit out of the way and in the ghetto.
- A 6 minute walk from the metro
- The facility was rather dirty - The staff were rude - The cleaning staff damaged several personal items - The location was noisy and in an unsafe area - The beds were extremely uncomfortable
Ik vond de prijs prima, de douche was oke en het toilet was schoon.
We zaten midden in een ghetto, veel politie en personeel had niet heel veel plezier in zijn of haar werk. Maar dat is iets wat je veel meer in Frankrijk ziet.
Comfortably and cheap. Nice and helpful staff. there is a bus stop really near and a metro line in 5 min. Loved it. :3
