not alot to like
location was awful, scary looking people everywhere, felt unsafe, bed was rock hard, portaloo in room, small heater on full and was still cold
The heating was broken while the temperature outside was in minus, they didn't fix it on time. the metro station is quiet far there are no restaurants in near proximate and the staff is not very helpful they are usually not present at the front desk.
well organized and good to stay in budget price.
far away from central Paris, poor English of staffs.
localization next to station, more or less confortable bed
blanket is not enought, they are impolite.
Abid is small size
Staff's were very welcoming and English spoken. Helpful. I had a issue with my room, as soon as I told them, they have changed my room immediately. Basically, when we arrived they gave me a room with 2 beds in it, I only wanted with 1 bed, instantly they have provided that. Room was clean and comfortable, and warm. As it was winter, heating was the most important thing. Shower was brilliant. No unwanted noise, location was somewhat close to the metro as well, 8-10 minutes walk, which was fine for us as we were on holidays.
No Tea/Coffee in the room, TV channels shows only French TV. Could do with 2 extra pillows rather than just 1 each. Could have a chair in the room instead of a stool.
on the 6 floor the room was good
on the first floo ror second( I , don't remember me wich floor it was), the room was old , not so clean as the 6 floor. Window was very difficult to close, there were just 2 towels, we were with 3 adults,no sheet on the upper bed
Great value for money, fantastic breakfast
Close to Bus and Metro station. average neighborhood. Good wifi
Staff at the reception were completely rude, unfriendly and unhelpful. The heating at the room on the first day was not working, however the reception did not help. They tried to move us to another room (after a debate) where heating was not also working. The following day we had big fights with all staff , they lied about the heating system in the hotel (which apparently was not working from beginning but they did not inform us) until they brought the Senior manager who was decent enough contrary to all other staff. Even their security guard was rude and impolite . Later on they were always unfriendly and poor in all services they provide (no printer, no luggage room and tried to send me to a locker room instead, ..etc) I WOULD NEVER EVER STAY THERE AGAIN.
Buffet breakfast good value, less than 10 mins to metro, supermarket next door (Monoprix), restaurants/bars close by, clean/secure hotel, cheap/secure parking @ 20eur/24hr.
Minor thing - My wife asked about hair dryer at desk as none in room but it wasn't available at all. We stayed 4 nights so it would be nice to have I imagine after washing your hair so you can go out for the night, in the cold wind, with dry hair.
Sunday market under the bridge
IT'S NOT POSSIBLE THAT IN 2015 THERE ARE NO HAIRDRIERS IN THE ROOMS. THE STAFF IS NOT REALLY 'FRIENDLY' AND THERE IS ONLY 1 PERSON AT THE RECEPTION (SO OFTEN THERE IS A LONG QUEUE)
Great for the money paid
Staff in the lunchroom was not polite at all! Also, did not speak English!
Costsavings, free wifi.
Location. Too far away from nearest subway station. Bad-Bad neighborhood.
The Hotel reception Staff was not very friendly to start with. We also paid on booking.com in full for the 3 rooms. On arrival we realised the 3 rooms was not paid in full, but only the booking fee was paid to booking.com and the outstanding amount still due. The staff at reception made us feel like criminals for the misunderstanding. Despite this problem, we also asked the reception staff to assist us in transport to the train station on the morning of our departure. On two occasions they confirmed that we could go down to reception at any time and a shuttle would be available within 5 minutes. The morning of our departure we went down to reception at 04:50 and none of the previous staff was available. The person on duty replied very cold and rude that a shuttle for 9 to our destination was not possible and after arguing with us said that nothing was arranged with him and that he did not know anything about our previous arrangements. It took 5 minutes of arguing for him to understand our desperation to get to the station on time and he then managed to arrange for 2 taxis. Even though we were 2 adults and 1 child per room only two towels were provided. When we asked for more pillows because the ones on the bed was very thin and uncomfortable, the reply by the cleaning staff was that they can’t supply us with any extra linen… (we managed to get an extra towel though)
bad location, felt unsafe!
Only 5 mins from metro.Lots of restaurants close with lower prices than central Paris.
Noisy from other guests.
I liked the value for money the room was clean stayed 3 nights they had changed linen once and everyday had changed towels, bins and soaps. The breakfast was worth the money have as much as you like (Continental Breakfast) .
Location a little far from central Paris but has good transport links. The area is a little undesirable but the hotel itself ok.
the room was big enough. al the facilities were working properly. clean enough.
the location was not good at all. 15 minutes walk from the train station
personnel speaking English and other languages, quite informative, the location was OK, WiFi had a good signal
the worst breakfast in a 2* rated hotel ever - in theory open between 5 AM and 10:30 AM, in practice we came around 6 AM, we were the only guests in the room and nothing was on the bar - no milk, no juices, no bread - nothing. I don't know what the lady did during one hour, but she didn't forget to put a Santa Claus cap on her head. Another day we came on 9:30 and were informed that the breakfast was almost over (still one hour left). The cutlery was plastic. I would expect something better from a hotel in a country which shows standards, gives Michelin stars etc. Not a royal service, but a minimum. Similar properties in countries like Germany, Estonia, Sweden or Poland give much better service, especially regarding breakfasts.
Room was tiny; Staff put minimal effort, was more interested in talking to his colleagues while serving guests; Booked for three people and the third bed was a bunker bed and had just a fleece, (we travelled in the middle of the winter); The sink was inside the room. Never again!
The price cost-benefit
One time the shower broke and the water was could and we advised reception staff and it seemed they don't gave any importance.
Excellent wifi! And cheap. Since the location is in a poor neighborhood, u can find cheap supermarkets and restaurants which is great!
1)The shower was in a room. The toilet in a room, and the washing cabinet in the sleeping room. It was very weird. You had to leave the toilet to the washing machine to wash ur hands. 2) The location is in a poor neighbourhood, but nothinf happened to us!
The manageress was not helpful with a problem I had if fact she just walked away but the other staff were helpful
Staff were super helpful when asking to have an earlier check in/out time. All spoke English which was very helpful, really enjoyable stay and the room for the price was very good. Get a room higher up if possible as the view is lovely!
The bed obviously wasn't overly comfy but what can you really expect? Lovely morning smell of weed in the corridor.
