the outside nice and old and parisienne and the inside interestingly modern and funky and functional. I loved the two windows which opened onto the street. the bathroom very clean and the shower nice and large. The fan is a lifesaver since one has to close the windows for the street noise at bedtime and for a hot night - the fan! wonderful.
The Hotel has a great location, near metro stations Charonne and Ledru-Rollin. The staff is bilingual and the area where the hotel is located offers many restaurants to choose from.
Location Big room
Wi-fi was terrible Paper walls Mould smell in shower/toilet
overall i have loved my whole stay in Paris. This hotel happens to be in one of the best locations plus the fact that this area is one of the safest. I had no worries walking solo even during late nights. This area I believe is in one of the best metro lines/connections -Charonne. I like the staff -- very helpful and accommodating. :)
wi-fi well not very good though sorry :(
Friendly staff. Safe location. Metro within 5mins stroll.
No air conditioning was a big negative.
The location was very good Room was light
Fixtures and fittings were poorly secured and very cheap Shower drainage was poor and therefore shower base filled with water quickly WIFI was very slow
-We had to ask for towels several times. - Poor wifi
The hotel is decadent
Internet does not work
Enough bed space for two people and the toilet facilities were good.
The WiFi provided was really slow.
Helpful staff. Roomy accommodations compared to similar French hotels. Quiet location.
Quiet residential location meant no restaurants nearby- have to walk 20 minutes. Walking back alone at night felt uncomfortable, streets were deserted.Need the metro to get to tourist sites...Bastille a good 20-25 minute walk.
location and friendly helpful staff
run-down inside (no stair carpet) and bits falling of shower and bathroom fixtures. no soap on first day and internet very slow or not working.
Clean rooms, friendly staff, free WiFi and only a short walk to Metro station, restaurants, ATM's, free and Supermarket.
Lift is very small (2 person or 1 person and bag), bathroom had some water leaks around the shower which made it smell very musty.
good location, 4 first nights quiet room 3 days very polite staff
-keycode didnot work, I was moved to a noisy room. -from saturday to monday very unpleasent and bad service. -the man at the desk left my earlier rooms door wide open in 6th floor and came down where I was waiting with no hurry! -terrible smell 24/7 in wc. -The contact boxes for elecricity were loose in my both rooms
bright airy bedroom helpful staff well located with easy access to central Paris on foot safe area, with plenty of bars and restaurants but still quiet during the night
bathroom was a bit shabby
I liked the bathroom design and comfort of the bed.
Did not like the poor wifi service, also I expected a room with painting something since it was named Les Arts. It was a plain white room, and smelled like paint, so it must of been just painted. The ceiling fan didn't produce any air, and It would be nice to know if the special request you put it wouldn't be done, via email or something, so I wouldn't have expected it.
Breakfast time starting at 7am is great. Staff are friendly and not too formal.
Good location. Nice staff. Modern and clean room.
Very small room and tiny bathroom.
Excelent hotel. Staff very friendly and helpfull. Very well located. I will recomend it.
Clean, good position, a lot of nice restaurants around, good metro connections. Overall, considering the prices in Paris, good value for money if the room is going to be used only to sleep over.
Extremely thin walls, old building - not all rooms renovated, no air conditioning, cannot control heating. Rooms and the elevator is small, but that is a common thing with most hotels in Paris.
Excellent location, nice room, quiet at night, secure (reception manned 24hrs and guests have to be let in), decor, a hotel with character and good prices in a central Paris location.
No drinks facilities in the rooms.
The central position in the 11th arrondissement of Paris
The room was not warm enough
Location to metro was good
BATHROOM VERY SMALL
I managed to book this hotel under a very good deal on booking.com, which is a good job because the rooms are not actually worth the full price that would normally be charged for them. The location is good.
The receptionist doesn't seem to really smile unless prompted - The first night he gave us a room where the toilet didn't flush, the heating was noisy, tiles on the floor were cracked and the decorating was horrendous (not anything like the artistic pictures on the internet). I managed to get a swap but he gave it me begrudgingly . Still the room we were in did not have fancy pictures on the walls. The bed was not of a very good quality, my poor boyfriend suffered with his back all week. Basically stay here if you get a good deal and you want something very close to the centre, but beware the bad attitude and don't expect to get put in any of the artistic rooms if you did get a deal. Quite disappointing.
i stayed at a single room.it was ok. enough space for two persons.
but there were dust on the floors.i told the management but it was the same..
Location very close to metro, staff was very nice, room was cleaned daily, had an elevator
lacked a proper closet
