We were only here for 6 days and did a lot of walking. we...
We were only here for 6 days and did a lot of walking. we spent one afternoon at the thermal baths which is very nice but has become very expensive. There are a couple of places around town where you can soak your weary feet in the hot water free, which is lovely. We visited a couple of bars in Ax-les-Thermes for coffee/hot chocolate and a beer, the bars are very friendly. You definately need transport in D'Orlu it's about an hours walk to Ax-les-Thermes which is where the nearest shops are to get groceries and bars, but it is only a 10 minute drive. Amazing for a ski resort there is even free parking. We enjoyed everywhere we visited so didn't actually find anything that we would avoid on another visit.RosemaryUnited Kingdom
