I have traveled the world and this is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. The inn keeper was generous and truly caring. He prepared a delicious breakfast and helped with suggestions about where to eat and what to see nearby.

Character property on the River Seine, beautiful cottage if you love antiques and tranquility The host Bertrand welcomed us after a long drive with a brandy from the region and breakfast next morning and for the following days was amazing,with a good choice of local produce. If sunny, and it was sunny, breakfast was outside looking at the scenery in peace and quiet. The rooms are comfortable and some lovely pieces of furniture. Evenings were enjoyed with a glass of local wine listening to the owls calling each other and the odd boat passing quietly. Great location for visiting the Normandy Beaches and Honfleur and Caen with many chateaus in the area, and not too far to visit Paris, you do need transport though or there is a local bus service in the village.

Bertrand provided a delicious and complete breakfast each morning. He was an exceptional host--gracious, friendly, helpful. We very much enjoyed conversing with him. La Bonne Auberge was everything we had hoped for and Bertrand made our stay all the more memorable. It was a perfect location for exploring the Normandy region--Quiet and peaceful. The landscaping was beautiful and the view of the Seine magnificent. The thatched cottages throughout the town are a delight to behold as is La Bonne Auberge. Inside our unit, the large central room was perfect for relaxing, the king sized bed very comfortable, and the bathroom facilities very modern.

Histouric house situated in a beautifull garden on a really wonderfull location at the Seine river bank. Beautifull surrounding, very quiet and at close driving distance to the Normandy coast and other nice places to visit.

The most fantastic location, directly on the banks of the river Seine. The accommodation is a 16th? century thatched building, furnished in traditional style with the most comfortable bed! Very welcoming host who offered a local aperitif on arrival. To be aware this is not an all singing all dancing modern five star hotel. It is instead a piece of tranquility in the quaintest, quietest of hamlets.

What did I like? Everything! the host was lovely, the view was beautiful, the room was comfy (probably the best sleep I had during my trip), the breakfast was delicious, and the local restaurant was brilliant!

This place is a gem when it comes to disconnecting and recharging. We had an incredible time soaking in the stunning views of the outside garden and the river – it felt like something out of a fairy tale. We stayed in the main suite for the night, and it was both cozy and comfortable. Despite being 240 years old, it has been beautifully maintained to retain its original character, complete with a fantastic old fireplace in the living room. The bedding and bathroom, however, were modern and exceptionally comfortable. Our host was not only incredibly friendly but also a wealth of information. They shared fascinating details about the history of the place and offered great recommendations for exploring the region. One of the highlights was the wonderful breakfast served on the terrace, where we enjoyed our meal with a breathtaking view. It's safe to say this was one of the most memorable breakfasts we've ever had.
