tiny rooms no elevators lack of cleanliness
We had an excellent time at La Cour Carree. Very modern rooms that have been recently renovated.
The rooms were contemporary and very clean
There was no lift at the facility therefore my 65 year old parents had to carry their two heavy suitcases up two flights of spiral concrete stairs that had no railing. So dangerous. The rooms were fine but not 4*. The wifi was poor, at 2 floors up it kept disconnecting. Also its further from city centre than known. It is in a lovely quiet area but i discovered at night time this was dangerous and there were many homeless people nearby. I was not comfortable walking to hotel alone by night.
Location, comfort, simplistic design
Very tiny room
Location. Polite receptionist.
Awkward location to get to...and no elevator.
No tea or coffe in room
Very friendly team - helped us with private parking and getting around the lovely city of bordeaux Rooms very nicely decorated and cool trendy feel to the whole place
Maybe offer more facilities for guests eg taxi's into city centres, drinks on the patio area etc
Great location, friendly staff. The hotel's design was fresh and modern. Good value for the area
Hotel was very centrally located, very close walking distance to restaurants and attractions
We had to park in a nearby shopping center as I was informed on arrival that the hotel's car park was full. I had not seen any option to book the car park on the hotels web site or on booking.com. Room was a little on the small side but we were only there for one night.
Overall a very nice charming hotel, within walking to the main attractions and city centre
lack of toilet facilities in the lobby/breakfast area
Comfortable bed Recently renovated
No fridge in room
Breakfast was ok. A bit of a pain tryng to get car through one way system in Bordeaux - had to se public car park 19euro per day.
The receptionist was very professional and kind
Public space too small
Nice central location.
No parking facilities.
It is a small well run hotel in a quiet one way street with very little traffic, and about 100 metres to the main city area. Efficient and friendly hotel, with a healthy breakfast including fresh juice and good coffee.
Everything was good
Boutique, small clean and calm in great location
Cute little B&B. Very basic, no fridge in the room, no robes. If all you need is a place to sleep while in Bordeaux, and you are a good sleeper, this is a good solution.
Could definitely upgrade the mattress and pillows to be nicer and more comfy/pleasant. Keep in mind -- there is no lift, so be prepared to bring your bag up some stairs.
Location Style Decor
Hand held shower
Location close to city was great. Room was on the large size and helpfulness of the staff outstanding in terms of help with car parking, taxis, dining and laundry options etc Coffee was great!
Breakfast was 'ordinary' and fresh fruit on offer to old to eat. No shower screen really meant sitting in the bath to have a shower. We're not used to this, though of course it may be common.
Clean simple decor, very comfortable
Didnt have a lift just a spiral staircase so if you have a big bag you might have difficulties, they do offer to assist
Staff, one young lady, was very helpfull and kind. Location superb in the middle of the old city, large parking close by. Breakfast was small, but of very good quality.
Our room was a bit small, although mentioned by staff.
Like everything else in Bordeaux, this hotel is charming. The location is on a quiet street in an excellent location. It is small and stylish, with a pleasant staff (one young woman in particular, was extremely helpful, and gave us excellent recommendations).
it's tiny place, and a bit of a bare-bones operation. there is only one person on staff at a time, so the receptionist also served breakfast, and lugged our suitcases up the two flights (no elevator). Our room was nice, but there was no closet or dresser.
Style, welcome, ambience and breakfast, which was much better than most French hotels in this price range.
Couldn't get Wi-Fi connection, despite helpful effort by staff.
