Directly on the sea shore and a 10-minute walk from the beach, Pullman Marseille Palm Beach is in Prado Bay, 2.5 miles from central Marseille.
Score from 437 reviews Very good
Great view of the entrance to historic View Port (old harbor). Nice pool area and outside tables to sit and enjoy the area. Convenient to walk to View Port and city center.
Poor table service outside was nonexistent. Most outside tables lack shade. My room on first floor needed new carpeting. Toilet was in a separate room, which was extremely small. Shower and sink room was small.
beds pool staff
it was a clean modern comfortable hotel within walking distance of all the major sights and shopping area
It was a little hard to find by car as tucked behind the Sheraton Hotel More prominent signage needed
The bed! and pillows, we'v been travelling for six weeks and this was the best!
Location Pool area and good views from it Towels provided for pool Clean room Friendly and helpful staff Spa Sofa in room Water provided in fridge
Shower wasn't the smartest for 4star Shower head loose Breakfast not included for the price Maybe provide biscuits in the room.
Location, breakfast and outside space / pool. Lots of young families but children all very well behaved.
people putting towels on the sun loungers and then disappearing off and not using them for hours on end.
Location. Pool and View. Usual Novotel features.
Only 2 attendents at Check in and out = Delay. Charged erroneously for breakfast... difficult to get credit back. Don't answer the phone... an Accor hotels classic!
Very good location between the city center (Vieux Port) and beach: 5 minutes walking to each destination.
The staff is welcoming and multi-languages. The room is spacious and however the carpet was awfully not clean. The bathroom is spacious too. The breakfast was so awesome.
The carpet was dirty. The toilet is separate and just beside the room door, while the bath is away next t the bed.
Nice breakfast, beautiful views of the Vieux harbor entrance, quick walk to restaurants.
Although a Little walk to Port, was ideal and quiet location
Wonderful location and food was very nice. The view from the restaurant at breakfast was beautiful.
We had a mishap regarding our bill and it took a while to sort at check out.
design parking bar location beds

Video game and playground for kids
Unstable WiFi conection
Breakfast and dinners were good value as our 3 kids eat breakfast for free. Pool was good. Hotel was clean, spacious. Room size was generous.
Shower glass door over the bath was not long enough, so the bathroom became a pool after 1 shower. Kids sofa beds were of poor quality. Spa was closed for renovation. Wifi a bit slow. Parking 20 Eur per night is a bit high.
The rooms The breakfast The hotel in all, BUT the pool area.
The pool area is far to small for all the guest from both NOVOTEL (4*) and SOFITEL (5*), and there where daily fights among adults for the sun beds! Screaming and shouting and calling each other names. It created a bad atmosphere.
Nice swimmingpool with towels and sunbeds. Beautiful view from the breakfast restaurant. The breakfast had plenty to choose from, but lacked alternatives to cheese and ham (eg fish, pate...) The kids liked the gaming area with wii and kinect.
The room was a little too small and had nowhere to put stuff. No cupboards.
Wonderful location, staff very friendly, and helpful, a stylish hotel with a wonderful pool area, and bar. Good for families and business people. Parking was good value as no parking can be found outside. Did not have the breakfast as its all a little repetitive and expensive.
Our room was a little tired looking, a broken hinge on a cupboard door and window was a disappointment, and mouldy shower sealant is easily replaced, maybe it was due to have a make over like the room down from us was having when we arrived.
location & reception personnel lobby and pool and bar area are good and new but room floors are very old.
very crowded, during the breakfast fork&knife&plate noise, foods finishes quickly, half of the coffee cups are dirty, the tap water smells in our room.
Perfect location; breakfast was excellent. Great deal for the price and what you get for that location - everything is within walking distance or accessible via one of the tourist trains. Will be back.
The Clean and tidy rooms and area, staff very friendly and helpful. My mother was in a wheelchair and i had a young child at 7 years old and the staff where amazing
The price of cocktails, 12 euros
It is like Konrad Hilton described the three most important prerequisites of a successful hotel; location etc. Great staff, bit young and unexperienced, but friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast, tasty dinners, not too fine dining. The room was clean, it was kept clean, refills to the fridge and tea kettle taken care of. Good job!
It is amazing that in a major business hotel, the personnel really don't know English that well. The lifts seemed to be a bit unreliable, but there were several. The pool water was a bit suspicious, heavy use is difficult to handle and there is no shower at the pool to wash off sweat after sunbathing.
Liked the pool and the beds were comfortable. The staff was great. The location was quiet and close to Pharo Park with must-see views of the city. Close to beach as well, which we were told was great for kids but we got sort of a gritty vibe there.
The pull-out couch for the kids was pretty uncomfortable. The views of the room depending on which side you're on, can be questionable. I had a view of a rooftop before I asked to be switched. The rooms are very small for 4 people and there was absolutely nowhere for us to unpack our things - one closet with maybe ten hangars and two drawers. The hotel should consider offering a shuttle bus to and from the port - it was a bit long and dangerous to cross the highways that led there.
