Cannes is lovely at the old town (West) end. It's quite touristy but this is the Cote D'azur! We weren't interested in the red carpet, casino etc. But instead beach bars like O'key and the old town. I think there is probably more to do in Nice but Cannes is definitely worth visiting. It's pricey but this is the Cote D'azur!

coming to the same conference for over 20 years and I have the feeling the city has become less and less welcoming and friendly towards its professional visitors. I feel more and more mistreated. bad food bad service, and never-ending construction work. A beautiful, breathtaking location undoubtedly but be careful not to lose your character.

Been hearing about the festival all my life and wanted to have a look at what it is because I may come back next year for the big event. Restaurants were nice and not that pricey. Although I live in a big city so I’m kinda used to it…You still have fast food restaurants or boulangerie if you’re on a budget and need a quick bite.

Picturesque city the streets of which you can walk every day. Spacious clean beaches, azure sea water, birds chirping, small bakeries and pastry shops on almost every street. Suitable for family holiday and for a romantic vacation.

The beaches are very good.
The beaches are very good. The downtown area is beautiful, full of restaurantes on the street, plenty of old streets with local stores, the square is beautiful too. Waking on the cost street is very nice also. The food in europe is great, tasty but not need to hide bad quality with spicy staffs.

Cannes is perfect for a short break - 4 / 5 days.
Cannes is perfect for a short break - 4 / 5 days. It's most famous for the Cannes Film Festival but prices during that period are ridiculously high. Visit during October as the weather is nice and it's not crowded (unless you happen to visit during the TFWA Exhibition which usually attracts more than 7000 delegates to the town for 3 - 4 days.
The location is excellent for the Palais de Festival, and there are convenient grocery stores within a couple of blocks, as well as restaurants and shops. Much quieter at night than the other side of town near the big hotels, which was a plus. Very comfortable studio apartment, with all the conveniences. Did not find a blow dryer- best to pack one! Stairs were fine; a little tough with luggage, but the rest of the time, no problem.
The room was very clean!! Shelly and Jeanine were incredibly nice and accommodating!! Stayed here for the Cannes Film Festival and it was a 6 minute walking distance from the theaters. Shelly had great restaurant recommendations for the area. They also set up a car for my arrival because I landed in Nice at midnight and was concerned about getting to the hotel that night. If I ever come back to Cannes I will definitely stay here!!!
The hotel's location is ideal. All of Cannes' main attractions are easily reachable on foot. Both the hotel and the rooms are on the smaller side, but they are nicely appointed. The ladies at the reception deserve high praise for their attentiveness, helpfulness, and friendliness. Our room overlooked the garden and pool area. The breakfast options were somewhat limited, but overall satisfactory.
We had a room on the 6th floor and a lovely balcony. Breakfast was largely continental but beautifully presented and served. The location of the hotel is ideal. It is an easy walk from the railway station and just behind the Croisette, the main beach in Cannes. We would definitely recommend the hotel to friends and family and have already done so.
It was ok! As a hostel it was spotlessly clean and probably above the standard of most other hostels. But if you are using this as the only alternative to a really expensive hotel during Cannes, Then you have to temper your expectations. Its a bed to sleep in and a very clean bathroom / shower facility with a very central Location in the town.
gorgeous property, incredible facilities, great location right on the waterfront, 3 star Michelin restaurant on the ground floor, with a bar that makes what I believe to be the best espresso martini in Cannes, prices were also 5 star but you get what you pay for really.
nb- they literally have the best slippers I’ve ever worn in any hotel.
The property has a lovely garden & the beds are comfortable however it’s just quite simply not a 5 star hotel. We paid circa €500 for a night in a room that didn’t have a shower, only a bath. It’s a 30 min walk into Cannes, the patio door lock was broken and I was served a burnt omlettte (how do you burn an omelette......) for breakfast.
Super clean room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location close to all shopping, restaurants and the beach. The rooftop restaurant is also amazing. Best hotel out of all the places we stayed in compared to Paris, Aix, Saint Tropez, and Nice. I came with friends but will return with my family.
I’ve stayed at Okko a few times now. It’s a great location next to the train station and Cannes city center. Everything is walkable. The windows are soundproof for perfect sleep at night. Very clean hotel and nice staff. Excellent breakfast, evening snacks, and wine in the rooftop dining space.
I traveled around France for 15 days and I can say that this was by far the best hotel I stayed in! The hostess was lovely, the breakfast was amazing and the room itself was so comfortable and quiet. I loved everything about the place. Next time I'm in Cannes, I'm booking a room there again.
I loved the balcony and the view of the garden and sea in front of us. The room was small and comfy, perfect for a couple to use. The hotel was clean and room service was great. The food at the restaurant was good and not pricey. It was a great choice for a Cannes visit.
A very pleasant surprise. The hotel is in an ideal location right in the heart of Cannes but it is relatively traffic free. Although a Best Western franchise, it has all the hallmarks of a privately owned hotel. Very good value for such an otherwise expensive venue
It s already our third year in a row in this nice hotel. Located in one of the best street of Cannes with loads of restaurants and clubs. Very central location also for shopping and walking to the famous seaside.
Property was amazing, room was so modern and spacious, especially compared to other properties in Cannes I was very happy with the room size. Gym and spa facilities were amazing, best products and equipment.
The hotel is clean and everyone was supportive and helpful from the staff close from train Station which helps in doing everything easily and near the beach
overall best place to stay in cannes
