I hadn't been back for some 8 years and the changes in Cannes have been noticeable , with many more food and beverage options and an upgrade to the general amenity of the city centre and beach boardwalk / La Croisette . Could have easily stayed an extra few days to fully explore this fun city.

Cannes is very glamorous and the shopping and restaurants are varied. Some are superb and others not so good. Difficult to appreciate the beauty of the beach as it is covered in sun beds and bars. Very expensive.
The people are lovely and seem to welcome visitors even if our French is poor.
Overall we loved it.

Cannes is one of our favorite places in the world - very charming old town Suquet with lovely restaurants ("Le Marais" with Jean-Yves is amazing), pedestian area in rue Felix Faure & rue Hoche with cute gelaterias, bars and restaurants, as well as rue d'Antibes & Croisette. Cannes is amazing any time of the year and top destinations for sumemr holidays and festivals. Upscale restaurants like "Baoli", "La Petite Maison", "Medusa" are changing their targeted custiomers, thus loss a bit of their attractivity. "La Guèrite" never dissapoints...

Beautiful beaches and restaurants.
Beautiful beaches and restaurants. Found the beach clubs a bit judgy based on what you wear(I realised they want you to be dressed up and probably have designer accessories) but we just kept walking until we found one that was friendly. Restaurants where all brilliant and never needed to make a booking to find a table. Cannes was very busy in August as can be expected but we still had a brilliant time. It's a very accessible town on foot. We also did a boat trip to a close by island and spend the day snorkelling and exploring. I wouldn't go in August again as it was extremely hot.

I have visited and stayed in Cannes many times.
I have visited and stayed in Cannes many times. I always visit nearby Nice, Monaco and a little town on the hill called Mougins!
With accommodations you can choose between location and hotel comfort and expect to sacrifice one or the other to your preference. Rooms are priced accordingly. I stayed at the Cannes Center Hotel Universe last visit: a perfect example of the best of both worlds.
Beaches are easy access. If you want a quieter experience hit the beach at the extreme East end past the harbor (Pointe Crositte) along the Blvd Eugene Gazagnaire.
Dining: I have never found a restaurant that didn't exceed my expectations....even late at night. One restaurant I NEVER miss is called La Pizza right near the west end harbor. And for late night I recommend the Gelato Junkie immediately behind the Hotel Splendid.
Any location in town is walk-able but I definitely recommend getting as close to the water/shopping as reasonably possible.

Absolutely everything!! The Hosts Alexandra and Julien gave a wonderful service , great communication at all times. The Apartment was outstanding, fully equipped with everything you would need for a hassle fee Holiday.
After visiting Cannes for almost 40 years , this Apartment is the BEST, even over some of the very expensive Hotels that we've stayed in ! When we return, my first choice will be to call Alexandra and Julien.
Peter and Elena.
Our entire stay was smooth and very nice from the very beginning! We were in dialogue with Evelyne before arriving, and it was seamless! The room was nice, clean and fresh. AC working perfectly, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine and fridge was nice. Cute little terrace and silent. It was amazing and we felt like we were at a hotel❤️ The location was amazing and the BEST spot in Cannes. Could not be better.
Very cute small hotel clean and good located ,ovner are very careful person making stay as good as possible, cleaning in room every day ,bathroom are big enough, for France and especially for south of France that price are as little as it can be for that kind of service! I will definitely back for this place !
A very pleasant surprise. The hotel is in an ideal location right in the heart of Cannes but it is relatively traffic free. Although a Best Western franchise, it has all the hallmarks of a privately owned hotel. Very good value for such an otherwise expensive venue
Really nice 3 stars hotel in Cannes located at 10 minutes by walk to the city center in an ancient villa, comfortable room and bed, free parking, very good breakfast, good quality/price ratio
