Cannes is lovely at the old town (West) end. It's quite touristy but this is the Cote D'azur! We weren't interested in the red carpet, casino etc. But instead beach bars like O'key and the old town. Been hearing about the festival all my life and wanted to have a look at what it is because I may come back next year for the big event. Restaurants were nice and not that pricey. Although I live in a big city so I’m kinda used to it…You still have fast food restaurants or boulangerie if you’re on a budget and need a quick bite.

Cannes is perfect for a short break - 4 / 5 days. It's most famous for the Cannes Film Festival but prices during that period are ridiculously high.
