I recently visited the old town and I must say that it is quite charming! However, I would advise against planning a visit on a Sunday as you will find most things closed. Additionally, all stores close at 6 pm, so be careful if you plan on doing some shopping. Frejus is a lovely old town in the south of France.
Frejus is a lovely old town in the south of France. Its center has cute shops and several restaurants and there seem to be a few events over the summer period. The beach is a little further, 30 min on foot, but a free Beach shuttle operates during the summer and there are normal bus services that run regularly and are quite cheap.Louise - 8.0Scored 8.0

lots of areas , old town shaded lots to visit , frejus promenade runs straight into St Raphael , with in an easy drive St Agay or St Maxime . close enough to see Cannes or even st tropez it has a railway station . just a matter of what you fancy great beaches beautiful sea so close in and so many restaurants to choose from .

This is my second preview for one visit . Hopefully you have the first one. I like Base Nature and its Handiplage beach with lifeguards. GoodBus Service in Summer. The wide Fregus beach prominade. He made us feel very welcome and comfortable even though we speak almost no French. The hotel is located in the heart of Fréjus with easy access to local cafés, restaurants and shops. The room was basic but had everything we needed. The place was impeccably clean. Breakfast was tasty and included French pastries, bread, yoghurt, variety of local jams and fresh fruit.
