The hotel itself was beautiful, the area was beautiful, the staff were amazing to talk to, they were friendly and more than happy to help.
The food was a good portion size, tasted amazing and the alcohol selection was good too. There were beautiful views all around, the gin class available on the website is 100% worth signing up for, it's informative, fun, you get to have a few drinks on the tour of the distillery and you get to make your own gin, name it and wax seal it too, obviously for a price, the tour guide of the distillery was good to talk to, good to joke around with, it was overall a brilliant experience.

Onich is really well positioned to visit some great places.
Onich is really well positioned to visit some great places. Ben Nevis is at Fort William, with the delicious whiskey distillery at its foot. Definitely visit Loch Shiel (famous filming location) and the viaduct at Glenfinnan (as seen in Harry Potter). You'll be totally spoilt with the stunning scenery on the way to and from Eilean Donan castle on Loch Duich - it's a bit of a drive but so, so worth it.SpicerUnited Kingdom - 8.0Scored 8.0
The view of the loch was good.
The view of the loch was good. It was a stormy day and night, but that was an interesting view too. It was a small simple room, which is all we need. I could do without the TV. You need to go and experience to understand how wonderful and amazing this place is and how staff put lots of effort to make you feel comfortable. It's so hard to describe it. Everything - place where hotel is - people who works there - surrounding area which they created like amazing garden clean beach Is just worth to see. Loved the location.
Loved the location. Our room had a balcony and a fantastic view over Loch Linnhe. They have an excellent chef and evening meals were delicious & reasonably priced. They also had a well stocked bar. The owner, manager and staff were all very polite and helpful and it was so good we opted to stay another night. Not everyone enjoys a buffet breakfast but it was good quality and suited us except for the food not being hot enough. Excellent location and room. The owners are evidently investing a lot to update the hotel and when complete will be very good. The owners are very helpful and friendly but their staff let them down with their lack of professionalism.alexandra

Breakfast was also very good! There were plenty of options to choose from and they brought it out for you as soon as it was cooked. Plus, the view from the dining room was fantastic! They are small but clean and there is a fridge and a microwave and kettle and two rings to cook. The owner was lovely and tried really hard to make things work and the food was great and there was a good menu. Its a great place to stay if you want to visit and walk in Glen Coe or go to Fort William and you need a clean bed for the night and great food. I would think 2 persons max in each pod. The hosts were extremely responsive and friendly. The cottage was spotless and incredibly cute. Our cottage was a little small for three adults (I was traveling with my 2 adult children) but it was cozy and perfect for our purposes. There is a hotel within walking distance where we got dinner and Glencoe is only a short drive for excellent breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.RRogerUnited States

Host was one of the friendliest and most helpful person I’ve met - gave us lots of useful recommendations and made our reservation in the restaurant. There’s waching machine in the drier room where you can dry your clothes. We felt very welcomed and got some great advices on places to go and see in the area, which made our journey even better so we are very thankful for the kind owner. The restaurant was also very cozy and served good food for dinner and breakfast.
