Clean and cosy hotel Breakfast excellent Staff friendly
Not very nice area Run down and a good walk to the city centre
The location was good for Anfield The breakfast was excellent I liked the separate lounge area The bar looked good although I didn't use it The staff were very friendly (and multi-lingual) Parking was good Agreed to hold my bags for the day Easy to get to and find (I don't have sat nav)
I did see a bed bug...
Clean, 100% working shower, good breakfast, quiet neighbourhood, very friendly staff, free wifi in rooms.
Creaking floor and stairs, loud doors, you can hear anybody in a hallway, very small rooms.
Never judge a book by its cover. Not the nicest of areas and from the front looks like a standard hotel. But internally excellent and staff more than helpful
Location but not a major factor in my visit..
Convenient for going to Annfield
There was only one member of staff working
The shower was to small and the water was not very warm,The bed was very uncomtbaul and it was sir ported by a peace of wood under the bed.The room itself could do with a make over. It was very noisy guest were in and out all night and the location itself was noisy as well If you wanted to go into town you had to book a taxi I would not say there again
liked the friendly staff, nothing was to much for them, breakfast good and plenty of it. all very clean and tidy
slightly away from the centre of the city but it was only a short bus ride away
The staff were friendly and extremely helpful.
The bed was squeaky and not too comfortable. The walls were paper thin.
Liked everything, nothing to dislike, ok not in the heart of the city centre but only 10 minutes away, and having parking was excellent, definitely would stay there again and would not bother staying in a city centre hotel again. Pauline Manchester
Our room had a hole in curtain and blinds needed attention which was a shame because the room was spotlessly clean and a lovely large room.Wasn't too keen at paying £2 for a small bottle of coca cola, at the bar, but no different I suppose to other bars.
Friendly staff, always available, comfortable room
A double bed instead of 2 singles would have been more appropriate for mine & my partners stay.
Not a lot. The dining room as pleasant but rather chilly. The breakfast choice as good but the cooked food was cold.
This hotel is really for the under 35s. The noise at night was the worst we have ever experienced and we have travelled extensively. The fire door to the floor was next to our room and that and the front door banged shut all night. Don't they had door closers in Liverpool? There we loud shouting arguing and swearing all night. The rooms had huge furniture and the sink in the bathroom was smallest we have ever seen! Not a place we would visit again!
poor managers that don't listen to complaints , poor showers , not giving the right measures of drink all in all a very poor place to stay exept for breakfast
For the prce good value
In a bit of rough area of Liverpool but close to town centre if driving. Went into bar around 11.30pm aftrer a meal out, they had no change so could not order a drink.....
the beakfast was the only redeeming feature of this otherwise sad overpriced excuse for a hotel
Location good breakfast alright.
Spent the night in room 8 with my elderly father. We had a terrible night listening to the corridor door banging all night. Still waiting for reply from hotel regarding compensation.
Top Quality Breakfast
The room we was in (87) was too small for a couple more like a single, also crammed with furniture made me feel claustrophobic and had to go out could not stay in room except to sleep.
I appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel and the very wide choice available for the buffet breakfast.
My stay was during warm weather, and the window in my room was non-opening. I'd have appreciated being able to let in some cool air.
Quiet, clean, traditional, great breakfast, very "English", one bus to Anfield, near bust stops
good parking easy to find
little bit cramped rained during the night and there was a blockage in the guttering which caused the rain to fall in bucketloads outside my window keeping me awake,
helpful staff, nice lounge, seperate pool room, good breakfast
thought it was quite expensive, Double room was reasonable, but single room was very small. Velux window in single room - black out blind was broken, so woke up early
The location was great, only a short and cheap taxi ride into town. The beak dart was fab! Great selection for everyone.
The rooms were boiling!!!!! And not enough light bulbs
Excellent bed and pillows - sleep good. Breakfast very good.
Old fashioned design unlike pictures advertising rooms (looked contemporary). Bar lacking mixers and soft drinks limited.
Closeness to Anfield, Clean
Breakfast and location.
Had complaints that were not replied to from my email and reminder email. Sort of "We don't care"
Good room, with an excellent choice of breakfast.
