Hotel was warm, well decorated and very clean, without being ,clinical'. Staff were helpful and welcoming
Woman in room above us stamping around for over 3 hours in the middle of the night and then started shouting and screaming at 5:45am. It took two attempts to contact reception to go and tell her to shut up. Breakfast was OK but grapefruit and croissants were sub-standard.
Poor heating, ice cold room !!!!
The evening barman was very unpleasant.
Very spacious rooms, good facilities. Although it was not in the centre of town there was easy bus access and it was only a 25 minute walk.
Clean and friendly helpful staff
No hot water for my 2 day stay
Room a bit small,bit tatty
Breakfast was very nice. As much as you wanted.
One member of staff didn't seem to care that we had a problem with a wobbly bed. We had complained to staff earlier and was told it would be dealt with. On are return from shopping, the bed was still the same, so we asked when it would be done? The staff member said, " how should I know, I've just started my shift"..... He didn't seem to care or want to sort the problem out. The rest of the staff were great, A big shame about him, maybe some training in manners and how to address costumers might help.
We only stayed for the night. It was very nice, clean and pleasant room, nice and warm, We had a brilliant time in Liverpool. We were in the city center in less than 10 minutes from the hotel. The free Park car was provided just out the hotel. The staff were very helpful couldn’t do enough for us, we will go back again.
had to unplug noisy fridge to get any sleep. very hard to find free space.
Helpful and friendly staff. Our triple room was very clean and beds comfy, slept well. The dining room is bright and spacious and breakfasts are excellent.
Comfortable room, plenty room, nice well stocked bar
Very welcoming and confortable. Bed extreamly comfy.
Rugs need replacing, skirting boards need replacing.
The location was good
The noise levels of other guests
Close to Anfield Stadium
Small but comfortable
Homely feel, quiet location, clean and pleasant staff
Conveniently placed for where I needed to be.
Noisy room - until I unplugged the noisy fridge. Poor value for money - but then everywhere was expensive due to Liverpool laying Chelsea.
friendly on arrival could leave cases as we arrived early and could not check in. always around to help if need be.
car parking available, easy access to the city centre. considering time spent at the hotel when visiting for a break then everything was good
I think at weekends there is the strong possibility that the hotel might prove busy and some guests inconsiderate
Breakfast was nice. Plenty of choices.
Location was too far from city center. Room was very very small. Price was very very expensive.furniture falling apart. Noisy people staying there no staff to control them . No telephone in room to report a problem.
Location and helpful and friendly staff
I was going to take a deal at a 4* hotel in the centre but there was nowhere to park my van so booked Beech Mount Hotel a mile and a half from the centre. It looked very nice on the internet being a conversion of grand early victorian houses. Two of the sockets didn't work and the rail was missing from the towel rail-which seemed trivial until I got up to find only cold water in the shower. The staff were very helpful getting me a different room in which to shower but the key to that room didn't work so eventually showered on a different floor!!! Remember the burned croissants at the Chateau helen- at beech mount they were not burned but had been in the warmer so long that they were hard and dry.
Excellent breakfast. Plenty of choice and good quality ingredients.
Was woken up at 06:15 hrs by rude rowdy neighbours coming back from a night out, continually slamming the entrance door, shouting and banging on an internal door asking to be let in. Completely ruined our experience and probably would not return because of it.
Breakfast was good.
Room was very cramped. Small bathroom off to the side of the bedroom.
