The owners and staff at the Carn Brae we're extremely welcoming, honest and lovely people. Breakfast was the best we have had for a long time. Excellent!!
The Carn Brae was a little further away than we expected however, everything else excelled our expectations.
Breakfast was the highlight for me
The bed mattress was not very comfortable and worn.
Would be a good idea to give out Wi-Fi code or have it somewhere in the room.
NOT FAR FROM MOTORWAY
TO FAR AWAY FROM CENTRE
Spacious single room with a sea view. Very friendly staff.
Friendly stay and very helpful x
Bed was a bit like a water bed would have liked it a bit firmer
The staff was very helpful xx
we chose the south of blackpool so we were away from the town centre - hotel was easy to find and friendly - lovely breakfast
We booked 15 mins before we arrived and managed to get sea view double room. Staff very friendly, and hotel spotless, food excellent.
The bed was very creaky, and one of sockets was'nt working in our room. Also bit of a walk to pleasure beach never mind to the shops did'nt get thst far!
We received a very friendly welcome. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and staff friendly and efficient.
Staff very friendly and approachable, bedroom comfortable. Location great.
every thing our stay there made it a most enjyable stay, and the breakfasts are wonderful
Friendly staff, good location, good facilities, the owner Ken was a very welcoming host.
As we were there in winter there was 70mph winds which kept us awake. But it's difficult to blame the hotel for the elements outside.
Good value for money. Basic room with a comprehensive breakfast choice. Helpful cheery staff. Close to the tram and prom.
We stayed when it was very windy and it sounded as if the roof was going to lift off. Loose cables outside the window and an exceptionally noisy roof made sleeping a challenge. Just about a view of the sea.
The whole experience was great!
The food was good
Room smelt funny carpet had bits on. Shower was hot and then cold wet the floor and I sliped and hurt myself towels was very small. Hairs on the sink room was red hot despite turning the radiator off and opening windows full. Young adults running around corridors most of the night very loud and noisy people screaming and having sex ridiculously loud disgusting. No one on the front desk to complain to got no sleep at all. Room was tiny not a good place to stay. On pictures hotel looks big and green its actually small and white more like a b&b payed far too much money to stay not near anything apart from other hotels no entertainment on dont think the bar was open. Not good would not stay here again.
friendly staff really good sized room which was exceptionally clean , en suit with bath and shower . the breakfast was a treat we will be using this hotel again as we visit blackpool to see ourfamily 6/7 times a year.
nothing , the only thing is parking but in blackpool its a problem no matter where you stay.
Staff were friendly and quick, the bar was well stocked when we went in for a drink before going out and a reasonable price. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were comfortable and the bed was well presented and bedding looked as new.
Rooms could do with some updating and decorating. Not keen on having to pay for an extra tea bag or milk in the room.
Lovely staff and large clean family room
quiet basic room ,good breakfast
could nt get wifi to work ,option of early breakfast would have helped ,dificult to get parked
All the staff were friendly and helpful
When busy the breakfast room gets full and not enough seats
The breakfast was A+++++
Its situated a long way from the town centre
Reception area welcoming. Staff very friendly and polite. Disabled person friendly. Ramp to entrance. Lift to all floors. Disabled toilet on ground floor near lift. Very nice, pleasant dining room.
Bedroom was twin. I found it rather small for two people. Very warm but could get quite stuffy. Unable to open window. Toilet hard to flush. Handle needed to be pressed about five times before it would flush. Felt the room needed a good overall. Decor and furnishings.
